That was one of the top five executed defensive sets for UMass tonight. Which isn't saying much, but still.
Rhode Island has talent, but the way they fell apart tonight you can see why their record is what it is.
Since Munford hit a jumper with 9:50 left in the game, URI has scored a grand total of 4 points.

I can't recall seeing a team that craps their drawers for 90% of a game and steps on so many landmines set by themselves, yet manages to come out with the win wayyyyy more often than anyone should rightly expect.

Once again, these announcers blow, and so do the refs for reviewing the Garino foul from the floor. It was committed because he didn't want to be kicked in the face by his opponent, so he reflexively put up is forearm to shield it.
