That sounds like his speed. Actually, I’m pulling for the guy. It’s good to have a character or two on the team.

Now that Mookie got his 30th SB, can Cora ban all stealing, sliding and diving for the next four games? If someone jams a finger being "aggressive" between now and the playoffs, I'm gonna freak.

Yeah, the special place he has in the hearts of Sox fans reminds me so much of Ws fans with Curry. No matter how many "KDs" the Sox add (Sale, JDM, e.g.) and how well they perform, Mookie will always be the chosen one, the baby Jesus, etc.

O's pass the '62 Mets (60.5), now 61.5 back of the Sox with a run differential of nearly 500 (496). Those are mind-boggling numbers.

That means that simply taking the distance from third to home Sox runners have traveled 8.5 miles more on the basepaths this year than the O's. If you take the difference in total bases I think there might be a marathon's distance between the teams. The only mitigating factor may be that with the number of home wins we have (and the number of home losses for the O's) the Red Sox probably have played a few less innings.

The last Os pitcher was an infielder. Lets not get too crazy.
