I'm skeptical. I'm not saying to completely discount him just that I'd be pleasantly surprised if he was anything more than depth.

I will be pleasantly surprised if he is even depth (i.e., if he isn't cut in camp).

Don't know if anyone was hoping the Pats would snag Lyerla in one of the later rounds, but Matt Miller says he is off their draft board entirely:

This is like having a nice rib eye dinner, only to find out they're out of cheesecake for dessert.

I like that as I don't see much upside to CJF (sorry SSF) or Niklas. ASJ has more upside than probably anyone but Colt as a tight end complete package. He's certainly a risk but one I'd be comfortable taking in the 60s.
