Topics Locked and Can't Reply

I've been a member since April and each time I go into the Red Sox forum it says "I can't start new topics" and when I go into a thread "This thread is locked".
 
I've never posted on the board before other than the Q&A I did on the Patriots and their draft prior to this year's draft. 
 
If someone can help me allieviate this situation so I can start participating in this community I'd appreciate it.

That's what I'm trying to figure out.  If he has access to various forums, but not the main board, he has to hit that threshhold.

Haha I post on a few other boards and to be honest I'm trying to join a more intelligent board. I'm daily poster, just trying to figure out when I can start replying to topics.

Is there some kind of definition of SoSH-specific terms like Premiere Member, Dope (as it refers to someone other than me).....?

Premier is a type of membership that (I think) includes blog space and other features. In reality it doesn't mean much.

Dopes and Mods run the joint. Give them your extra cigarettes.

Yah basically the only difference at this point is a bigger inbox. Frankly, the sub system here sucks but this place can be expensive to run at times so any subscriptions are super appreciated.

OK, so what does a subscription buy me?  Is it on a time basis (monthly, yearly, forever?) - I think I had one at one time.

In theory a subscription needs to be renewed every year.

I changed it to a 'SoSH unsubscribed member'. See if that restores access.

I don't know if it's related, but just now about a dozen threads in P&G have changed to "locked" to me. If it was just one or two I would just assume that a mod had locked them, but it's many.

You can, unless those threads have been locked by the mods. Which a couple of yours have been.
