If anyone is interested in the Timmy game 11/7, my ticket is available. $32 (I think, I'll double check). Payment accepted in cash or beer. They'll be going on the Exchange at some point, but figured I'd see if someone here wanted them first.

I'm a little under the weather today, so if anyone's interested in my ticket for tonight let me know. It's posted on the TE, but can cancel that, and I have until 3 to email it if anyone is interested.

I have 3 tickets to Monday's (Columbus Day) game against the Red Wings. Section 327 which is all you can eat (hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, soda, etc.). Nothing special, but a decent thing to have. $100 each which is face value. Tickets are on TE, but feel free to email me.

A little late in posting this, but-

My parents' church is running a blind/silent auction this Saturday. It essentially works like the posting process from the Nippon league... everyone submits one bid of what they would be willing to pay for the item, and the high bidder gets it.

Anyways, someone has donated two tickets- Club seating, (level 5 section 111 (row D seats 14/15)), as well as a parking pass (TD Garden North Station parking garage, level 2).  Per stubhub, face on these tickets are $332.50 per... the auction sets the minimum bid at 50%, so we're looking at a min bid of somewhere around $375.  I'd love to invite you RMPSers to get in on the bidding, or have multiple puckheads get together and put in a bid.  The game is Nov. 14 game (thurs, vs CBJ). Also, per Nap via Fris, any winning bid over face is a write off as a charitable expense.

You can PM me your bid if you would like-  to keep things fair I won't submit a bid myself, so as not to bid 51,111,111.11 to top the next best offer.

Sorry for hijacking this thread a bit, but has anyone ever sat 1st row behind either bench or the penalty box?  And if so, is the experience worth the somewhat obstructed view?  Can you see/hear what's going on in the benches almost as well from a few rows back and several hundred dollars less?

Thinking about getting tickets for a game later this season to stalk a former Bruins player.  But they're ridiculously expensive.

It is pretty cool to see the game from ice level- it's the only way to truly appreciate just how big/strong/fast/talented these guys are. Sucks to try to watch a whole game from there though, as even 'un-obstructed' seats leave you unable to view 1-2 corners.

It's a great experience, but not one I'd shell out big $$ for.

Couldn't agree more. I had what I thought were awesome seats behind the bench for a Frozen Four game.  Ended up staying there for half a period before moving up to the balcony. I could barely see any of the game when the players were sitting. Forget during a line change or an odd man rush where they'd all stand.  Down in front didn't really work.

Agreed with the above. IMHO it's something worth doing once because it really is a neat way to watch a game but for the day to day games I'm a lot happier being up higher where we are since we can see everything.
Also, in terms of seeing the game, rather than being directly behind the bench/penalty area you're probably better off being on one of the blue lines where you're right on the glass. You're obviously farther from the benches then though so if that's the full reason to do it then never mind the previous sentence.

My BU seats are below glass-level, but above head-level in a corner.  I can see everything pretty clearly other than the corner of the ice on the same side of the ice near the opposite goal.  Its nice because I'm not really blocked by anything, I get to see things from a pretty direct level.  I'd recommend that, or glass seats from blue-line out if you want to get really close.  I'd try for glass seats behind the goalies if they weren't student-only (unless alumni can get in there, in which case I'll find a way).

I hope you had a good view of the beatdown given by BC on Friday night. :rolling:

Thankfully I did not.  BU screwed the half-season package holders by excluding all BC games from all half-season packages and only including them in the full-season package this year.  BU is good, but not great, while BC has continued their almost decade-long run of great teams.  This team has really great freshman/sophomore talent, and honestly the second Noonan graduates, this team will immediately take one less dumb penalty a game on average.

Mon Nov 25 Penguins 7:00
Sat Nov 30 Jackets of Blue 7:00

I have 3 tix in section 327 - all you can eat section for Saturday's game vs Pitt. Face value is $100 each, but make me a reasonable offer below face and tickets are yours. I can email, or you can buy on ticket exchange.

Not really looking for tickets, but wondering if anyone is going to the Bruins game in Phoenix on the 22nd of March or has experience in Phoenix.  I'm looking at driving my wife and kids out for the game and was wondering if there is a section that Bruins fans tend to sit, or if anyone wants to meet up.

hearing that season ticket prices are going up as much as 40% for some people for next year. I guess he's making up for not raising them coming out of the lockout.
I'm a little scared to log in...

Pretty much.
Quick math on mine. Seats went from 90ish - 110ish. I haven't received the package yet. Just basing on the invoice total.

If there's an extra preseason game (making 44 total) ours went up about 15% (18% if only 2 preseason games).
Hard to believe I'm kind of relieved about "only" a 15% jump.

that's crazy chsea. Are they at least going to buy you dinner first?

Yep, there are 3 preseason games so 44 total.

playoffs go from $110 to $165 to $220 to $275 for each round. Cup runs are expensive.

But hey, if you've been a season ticket holder for 20+ years you'll get a "$100 credit to be used at the TD Garden" as part of your renewal. So you've got that going for you.

I think ours went from 94 to 107, so about similar to Naps in terms of percentage.

Sucks, but what can we do?

I'm jumping from 32 dollars top 45 dollars. Crazy increase but that is basically making up no the no increase last year.

The benefits are always shit, but I haven't opened the package yet. Guessing nothing worthwhile. I was prepared for 20% or so. 41% is steep, not sure I can do it. Oh well. Lockout tax is more expensive than the "we won the cup" tax apparently.

On another note, I'm looking for an extra pair to Saturday's game against the Caps. Scrounging the exchange, but if anyone knows or has a pair I may be interested.

I've been watching stubhub for a pair of tickets to the Sunday game against Philly. Balconies 200+ per ticket, no thanks!  Well I think I just bought pair with "pricing error" of $25each.  I sort of felt bad for a minute, thinking someone went in to adjust the price and meant to make it $250 and saved it without the 0. The tickets got sent to me right away via electronic delivery. I looked at the name on them? None other than "ACE TICKET".  Haha, thanks ACE! I Hope nobody gets fired over the pricing error, but i'm in the house for $55 for the pair.
