Then plant Matthews' face into the boards and take the 2 minutes.
I'm only half kidding.
NHL refs are brutal. That should have been a no doubt PP.
Get the fucking puck out of the fuckimg zone
This period's going to hell quickly
Bruins are getting screwed. That was poor clearing attempts by the two best Bruins penalty killers
Unreal save on Marner there
Brian Boyle on a 5-on-3?
WHAT THE FUCK?
WHY DO THEY BLOW THAT DEAD?
Dan O'Halloran is redefining incompetence
That's fucking insane. You don't blow it dead if a guy breaks his stick.
Never saw that before
Are you fucking serious!?!?
Jesus fucking Christ, they want the leafs in the playoffs that bad?
This is PISS.
Nice interference against Belesky not called
Obviously. What a pathetic job by the officiating crew.
Certainly feels that way.
That was such a nice interference play by Bergeron on the goal. Gives Backes an extra second to get the shot off.
And is it a long or short O for Soshnikov?
Great, great idea from Spooner to Vatrano
LOL Brick. "See if ya get it right this time"
Make 'em pay.
Prob not a penalty but I'll take it
Solid PP - Bruce gave unit 1 a full ~1:45
They did well here, but I don't love icing the 4th line for a d zone draw coming out of a timeout.
Love how the clock isn't working in the stadium. Also find it funny Jack thinks he knows how to solve the issue.
Colin Miller has been given a bit too much rope with decisions like that
How did he save that?
Holy shit Rask.
Can't reboot it, they might miss a MAKE SOME NOISE riff or a promo or that random guy who was just screaming into a microphone. Priorities.
So NESN just isn't going to show that last save by Rask? Gotta run the Backes goal 42 times though.
I can't remember where I read it - but I recently read something about younger NHL players being given a bit more rope to make mistakes and make decisions than veterans, as it allows them the learning experience of what can work and what cannot work. You can be more effective as a team if you keep every player in the system, but it is often to the detriment of the development of younger players.
Food for thought.
Hahahaha, glad I'm not the only one who heard that
Might want to put a bit more time on that clock.
Chara and McQuaid to start the period. Mixing up the D?
edit: Nevermind, Chara just came on for Krug
I'd try and get 88 some shifts on the top line this period.
Damn, Krug had numbers there.
That looked like a Claude Julien 4-on-2.... jeez
They're gonna be toast tomorrow. Best to get a point or 2 tonight.
What a rush by Marchand.
Not sure what the Leafs beef was there.
I'd like to see Komarov get his face punched in.
Btw Jack, Komarov's Finnish
Edit: alright alright, Estonian born
