Between here and everywhere.
I feel dirty starting a gamethread after a loss, regardless of gamethread protocol.

Bruins could use a solid defensive game, a shutout would be nice to see. Get Rask and the D some confidence.

Gustavsson in net. Beleskey and Morrow are GTD but they were full participants in line rushes so they're likely in. Bergy didn't skate, probably sleeping or enroute to Brooklyn.

Morning Rushes:
Beleskey-Krejci-Pastrnak
Marchand-Kelly-Eriksson
Talbot-Spooner-Hayes
Rinaldo-Kemppainen-Connolly

I'm making the assumption that Bergeron was excused with baby duty, but will be in the lineup tonight.  Kelly moves down to 3rd W, Talbot pushes Rinaldo or Kemppainen out.

Also, can we get the sosh spelling fillter to autocorrect Rinaldo into something more appropriate?

Testing: Bucholz

edit: boo, its not on anymore.

Beleskey is out again. Morrow in for Cross, and the Miller's have been flipped. Colin is with Chara and Kevan goes with Morrow.

Isles can put the puck in the net this could be a wild one. 9-8? 7-6?

Was taking care of something else, not listening to the game, turn and think to myself "B's penalty kill is letting up too much movement".

Then I realized they weren't on the penalty kill.

18 shots on goal for the Isles, 28 total attempts. B's were 8 and 13. Not good. But hey, Rome wasn't built in a day either.

I missed the first, but did it seem like one person on the ice was way out of position all period then too?

Edit: especially Pastrnak.  It looks like he's just watching the puck and not actually playing hockey.

Someone make sure to show that entire shift in the next video review.  Kempainnen was 95% responsible for that goal.

That was probably their best period of the year.

Edit: Out attempted the Isles 29-9. Scored 2, limited chances in our own end. A period of hope.

You notice how in that medical bullshit ad, they said "coma, paralysis, or death" are possibilities?  That means if 1 person has fallen into a coma, then technically they're right.

Wow, what a play there.

Or a fortunate bounce. Still, you make your own breaks and the B's have owned the second half of this game.

Their coach is dressed like he's going to a Bon Jovi concert later. Guess he's coaching the right team
Shouldn't he bow be going to see an indie alt-rock band you probably never heard of in a secret location?

Rules question inspired by the 170 foot rebound that just happened:
Say a goalie makes a save, and no one touches it unitl it goes into the other, uncovered goal.  Can you score off a goalie's rebound?

Yeah. Although, distinct kicking motion would be a funny way to negate one.

Meh, still gave up three goals, two in a couple minutes. Good work on the comeback.

Good game, not outstanding.

1st period was bad, but they out attempted the Isles 49-21 over the final 2 periods. They settled down and really took over and controlled the majority of the game, on the road against a team that intends on going deep into the playoffs. Outstanding may have been strong, but I'd still put it down as an impressive performance.
