Everyone on ESPN but Charles Woodson(that is Woodson isn't it?) picks the Pats.

Edit: Too slow.

With the center injury, I am not sure the Pats will do anything much to try to exploit it. Not worth the effort. I mean, they might have Hightower blitz the middle (a delayed blitz would be perfect) a couple times, but nothing out of the ordinary.
What would be harder on his busted leg-moving side to side? Or having to go downfield 4-5 yards on every running play to try to block the LB?

Have been listening to Crazy Train more than I care to admit. Can't wait for the intros.

In this morning's game day show, all four of the ESPN commenters (Wingo, Riddick, Polian, and someone else who I forget) picked the Pats.

Imagine you´re living in Germany, the game starts at 00:30 am and you usually get up to work at 05:45 am (can´t take day off as a teacher)...gotta go to bed now for three hours until the game starts.
I live in the UK - game starts at 11:30 p.m. - and I have to leave for the airport at 6:45 tomorrow morning. The responsible thing would be to watch the first half live, record the second half on DVD and watch it at the airport/on the airplane...but I reckon I'll be staying up all night and probably getting no more than two hours of sleep. Yuck.

This is amazing. How does stuff like this even happen? Like the celtics and lakers being tied all time for wins on Friday and playing. Sports is the greatest.

Don´t know about that, but there´s tons of sports bars which will show it in Berlin.
Every Sunday has two consecutive live games in free tv (minor tv station Pro7maxx) with a studio crew and lots of coverage of the games.
Today, they do a 3 hours pre-show, then swap to a bigger tv station (SAT.1, which is part of their media group), which is one of the main tv stations. Then that main TV station will also show 90minutes pre-show.
I mean this is more coverage than any Bundesliga, Champions League, World Cup match would get.
If I remember correct, the WC final 14 also had 90minutes pre-show in the main station, but no coverage in a minor station.

Pro7maxx has german player Mark Nzeocha (Cowboys) at the studio and had Kazim Edebali (Saints) for a call-in. They also regularly have two former german national players as mods, which basically explain any stuff to the casual sports fan. They have a sort-of nerd sitting in a corner behind his notebook, checking tweets, stats to the live-games, etc., which brings a different kind of experience to the traditional sports fan (nothing compared to football, tennis, or any other major sporting event we in Germany watch regularly), so it´s really good to see.

I had a crazy work week, which was well-timed. It prevented me from obsessing about this game. Now the work week is over, and I'm losing my shit.
