And now this: Cavs have blown a 16 point halftime lead, enter the 4th trailing the Magic by 3.

IT4 had 11 points in 1st quarter. He still has 11.

Sixth man? Would he even get minutes over Larkin once he returns from his knee?
I don't hate Shane Larkin but I might prefer a cardboard cutout of IT4 over him off the bench. Steph Curry saw Larkin check in a few weeks ago and started drooling all over the court.

I feel really bad for IT. He went from the man in Boston to this dumpster fire. He looks cooked but the situation sucks.
I feel bad for his teammates who get publicly called out by him every single night when he's as big if not a bigger problem than any of them. Good god put a sock in it you washed up midget!

This. He has been back for a few weeks and now he is getting an inordinate amount of heat for a badly put together roster and a team with bad team chemistry .

HRB is right in that IT should not be talking but he is not to blame for the bulk of the Cavs woes. It starts and ends with LeBron James.

This is both sad and amusing at the same time...

see POST #159

I can't decide which is the funniest part of that video (SoSH Poll material)
1. IT clanking the corner 3
2. the ball coming down hard and hitting Tristan's hands
3. Lebron walking the other way while the Magic break up the court
4. or IT also heading wrong way as the Magic break

Cue the music...

Is it called short arming the shot regardless of whether or not he makes it?

Cleveland without Isaiah on the floor:
Off: 113.9
Def: 111.4

Cleveland WITH Isaiah on the floor:
Off: 104.2
Def: 119.5

Let's knock it off about Isaiah not being a LARGE part of the problem. Those numbers pass the eye test as well. He's not an NBA player as it stands today......he shouldn't be out on the floor.

Nobody denies he is horrible on defense. He was never good and he is still hobbled. But he is far from the only reason the Cavs are struggling.

LeBron holding them hostage for next season is a huge issue for the squad too. It affects everything from chemistry to how far Altman can go to bring in help.

And even if they can bring in both Hill and Jordan, it won't fix the Cavs porous defense.

They had won 18 of 19 games up until a week before Isaiah returned. In his 13 games I don't feel it is debatable that he has been THE worst defender in the league. Offensively, he's been just as bad with an eFG of 41%......and that is just as big of a problem for the Cavs. I stand by my position that he shouldn't be playing in NBA games right now any more than Markelle Fultz.

HRB’s aforementioned bet that Toronto would make the Finals +800 looks pretty good.

Lue has to be gone by tomorrow morning; they can’t afford to do nothing right now because the situation is only going to get worse.

If I’m Gilbert, I seriously consider trading LeBron right now and trying to get something good from Houston, or another team. If he won’t wave his no-trade clause than fire sale anyone of value over the next 36 hours and start the rebuild now. Every report out right now is about the toxic relationship he has with management and even if they miraculously turn this around and win the title, I think he still probably walks. I wouldn’t blame them if they ride it out, but Belichek would be dialing the phone right now.

I do too. He’s not doing himself any favors with his play or his mouth, I agree... but I guess I just don’t really expect people to have a good attitude about being expelled from paradise and hurled into the Pit of Despair.

If they really wanted to trade LBJ, they should have dumped the team around him and told him that if you want out of this dumpster fire, agree to a trade. That's the only way they get any leverage.

Back up the Tonka truck ...
His expectations for his next contract must be cratering. SSS of course, but he's a worse shooter than Smart right now (Smart .357 FG vs. .355 for IT, and .299 3P vs. .232). His free throw shooting has held up, but that's about it. If you're IT, I think you've got to take a one-year contract and try to prove this partial season was just some horrible aberration.

Edit to add 3P, in case unclear.

"I'm here for the long haul," James said. "I'm here for this season right now."

I don't think that means what you think it means, LeBron.

Their defense is just awful. 2/3 of the way into the 3rd quarter and it is a 90-89 game vs. Minny.

The sideline reporter just said that they are still working diligently on trading for Jordan, but the Brooklyn pick isn’t on the table. She also said that their recent poor play has submarined the trade value of most of their current roster.

They screwed up the 2 for 1 and Towns needed to abuse Osman on that switch.

Here
Each team shot 60% lol. Is this the worst defensive run in modern history?
