Wishing safety and health to a two-time champion Patriot.

...and a few of these thrown in:

Lively ligaments and lead blockers for you, sir.

A fun dude, great gamethread nickname, poses with the Minutemen--all in all, a good Patriot. Too bad he fumbled in 51, but he kept the faith on the bench.

Stay in touch!

If we get low on healthy RBs, maybe we can work out another malcontent scenario similar to the one that we orchestrated with the Steelers.

Best of luck!

Looks can be deceiving but from the outside, LGBT sure looked like a likable, good guy. Seeing him on the SB videos after the glorious ending with Brady and his Mom was pretty touching stuff.

The TDs and hard rushing yards didn't suck either.

Thanks LeGarrette. For all of it.

And I can't say that I'm not a little relieved that BB's move didn't result in Blount being cock blocked from moving to another team and carry any fallout related to same. And that it did result in some draft compensation that the Pats would not have received had Bill not invoked a little known codicil in the Faber College Constitution.

I have a Steeler friend that is absolutely convinced LGB getting released was 100% orchestrated by the Patriots. The conversation always stalls when I asked him how we convinced 31 other teams to let him pass through waivers. But he always comes back to it a month or so later. The hate is real.

Duh.
The same way they got all those teams to pass on TB12 in the draft, 5-6 times.

I'm a LGBT fan. He was a great fit, both for him and the team, in NE. Sorry to see him go but understandable considering the additions at RB. Glad he got his rings and helped the Patriots get more rings.

I did love LGB, but I felt he was limited to some degree. For a big guy he's never really run like a big guy, he's just a mixture of a guy who is successful at 250lbs running like a guy who is 190. He'd break some runs, then he'd get stopped by a guy swatting at his legs. It was odd, but I did love his contributions here and I hope he has a good year with the Eagles.

LI notwithstanding, he held on to the fucking football. Most underrated skill in football. Nothing but the best wishes for him.

I'm reposting this from the Gillislee thread since it's more appropriate here:
Thank you LG for all the smashmouth moving the pile runs; the amazing 300+ all purpose yards against Buffalo in 203 including 2 electrifying kick off returns; the 2014/15 contributions en route to that championship, including the big deflategate game versus Indy; the record breaking 18 TDs this year; and the ongoing game commentary for (I believe) the Inside the NFL super bowl video for this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see him back in a Pats uniform, via injury or whatever, sometime in the future
