They generally would take the fielders word for it, as I said yesterday it would be similar to a ball in the Ivy at Wrigley. Mookie puts his hand up there the ball is dead and Jones gets 2nd base.

I've watched Bradley's catch repeatedly too. I've seen lots of "incredible diving catches" and usually been rather unimpressed on replay. But that catch is in another league completely. On slow mo replay, when you watch the ball coming down, the catch looks impossible right up until he makes it. I can't think of a more amazing diving catch I've seen. Anyone?

The optics of it remind me of the Edelman SB catch, where the first five times
I watched it on replay, I was convinced he couldn’t possibly make the play even though I knew the eventual outcome.
