Have the refs just been really paranoid this tournament, or are the clock operators really fucking incompetent?

edit:  And yes, it can definitely be both.

it is definitely both. A few times the clock never stopped. But then some times they went back and looked at something like 0.2 being lost which happens every stoppage. Also I noticed they added way more time than they should. Clock stops when the ref's hand goes up they were going back and stopping it at the point of the foul.

holy s**t, Kentucky is playing pretty well and still down 8 or 9.

Early and Cotton are Rudy Gay and Avery Bradley on steroids, respectively.

Randle doing his best Chris Webber imitation, but not good enough.

What a great half of basketball. Kentucky's playing much better than I expected to see.

But man, Wichita is just superb. Deep, talented, experienced, versatile, disciplined.

All they need is the meanness and anger of mid-80s Georgetown, and they'd be downright frightening.

if the Shockers are playing most teams in the country,. someone without Kentucky's athleticism, they're up 20.

Cauley Stein, Randle, and Early are all improving their stock immensely, IMHO.

If I ever meet the douchebag who sings the wretched "I'm Ten Feet Tall" song on that horrible Bud Light commercial, I'm going to rip his vocal cords from his throat with my bare hands.

That would be Afrojack............let me know if you need his address.

This game is why high majors should be scheduling really good mid majors during the season.

We'll see if the senior leadership of Wich brings it home. Or will the Freshman rise?

So they can change a foul call, but they can't change a wrong call when it goes out on Kentucky?

I know it's been said already, but these refs are just brutal.  Much worse than the NBA, which is hard to believe.

This is one of those games we'll all want to have available in high-def on-demand a decade from now.

Jesus, I absolutely hate this fucking KIllers song. Screw CBS and their "Official tune of the NCAA Tournament" bullshit.

FWIW, I still have Loyola Marymount vs Wyoming 1st-round game from 1988 on VHS. It was 119-115 for the Gathers/Kimble Lions against Fennis Dembo & company. I'd kill to have something -- anything -- of better quality.

Is this going to go down as an all-time classic game?
1. Duke Kentucky (Hill to Laetnner)
2. UNC Michigan (Webber TO)
3. Kansas-Orange (Warrick/Anthony)
4. this game
5. Hoosiers-Orangemen '87 Final (game, players that got me into the sport)

In just recent years-Duke-Butler for the championship
Kansas-Memphis for the championship

This is a great game, but it still a round of 32 game.
