Congats to Chicago, give them an inch and they amaze. I can't remember the last team I saw that was so good at capitalizing. They are the anti-squander. just amazing at their ability to do this. If they were a baseball team they would be 4 for 4 with RISP.

I'm of the opinion that if you ice the puck with the goalie pulled, you shouldn't be allowed to put the goalie back in for the faceoff.

Feel good story tonight will be Kimmo getting the Cup.
16 years in the NHL? Lost to Kane in 2010, now might have him score the final goal this year. Cool symmetry.

Why? Nobody is trying to ice the puck in that situation.

It's a very obscure joke that mabrowndog didn't understand celly.  Not even sure if anyone outside of myself remembers that heady time.

It is a line change. You can't change up under any other circumstances, so why now?

Whatever's left of Bishop's groin will be completely torn with all the skating from the net to the bench he's been doing here.

The Cup isn't at the rink yet? This should be interesting.

It's really bad weather in Chicago
Umm, the Cup should have been in Chicago as soon as Game 4 was over. This is inexcusable.

Man I wish the Bruins turned into the Blackhawks rather than dropping off.
Things could have been so different in 2013. Damn.

it really is funny to think of how much that one series changed things. The Blackhawks become the team with the chance at the dynasty instead of the Bruins. Bruins so damn close to forcing a game 7 too there. Gahhhh

Game 1 is the one that kills me. They had that one in the fucking bag. Up 2 with 10 minutes left, then Oduya's harmless shot deflects in off of Ference and woke up Chicago.

Have you seen the fucking weather in Chicago?
20 some thousand people, 2 teams, media, and arena workers all managed to get there. You don't think it's a little odd that they wouldn't have looked at the weather and left a little early? Like a few hours ago?

And Kaspars fucking Daugivans.  I'll forever hate the Latvian national team because of that jabroni.

Game 4 kills me. When Boychuk scored to tie it I thought they had it. Would have been up 3-1.

And yeah, Kaspars Daugavins.

Literally the minute Game 4 ended you knew the Cup needed to be in the building tonight. That was Wednesday night. Inexcusable.
