Now that the Green Bay-Detroit game is in the books and matchups are set, it’s time to fire this up for the 2017 playoffs. Final seedings are below.

Time to make your picks for each game through SB LI in Houston.

As I have the last few seasons, I’ll track the results and post standings throughout the playoffs. Any entry posted in this thread before kickoff of the first playoff game next weekend will be in the mix.

Good luck.

AFC:

2. KC
3. PIT
4. HOU
5. OAK
6. MIA

Round 1:
6 – MIA @ 3 – PIT
5 – OAK @ 4 – HOU

Round 2:
3, 4, or 5 @ 2 – KC
4, 5, or 6 @ 1 – NE

NFC:
1. DAL
2. ATL
3. SEA
4. GB
5. NYG

5 – NYG @ 4 – GB

Round 2:
3, 4, or 5 @ 2 – ATL

==========

Finally, here’s the question:

Can anyone match – or top – j44thor’s 10-1 run last year?

Edit:
If you tweak your picks after posting them, please either put them in a new post or flag the change for me by sending a PM. I've built the spreadsheet to track everyone's picks and am inputting them as you guys put them up. Don't want to miss any changes!

AFC:
1. NE
2. KC
3. PIT
4. HOU
5. OAK
6. MIA

Round 1:
6 – MIA @ 3 – PIT PIT - Miami shuts down Brown on D but have no answer for Bell... Moore will not be able to keep pace with Pitt offense. Close game... Miami beats spread but not Pitt.
5 – OAK @ 4 – HOU HOU - Houston D too strong and at home... Oak qb situation too ugly for playoffs. Oak will quit before halftime... not even close.

Round 2:
3, 4, or 5 @ 2 – KC PIT (over Kansas) - Kansas' D overrated and Pitt will wrack up lots of yards. Pitt will target middle of field (run and te) and let Alex Smith try to throw a wr td pass, which he will not do. Close game... Lots of field goals for both... even suspect Kansas will lead mid 4th but Pitt will either come back or will not have to.
4, 5, or 6 @ 1 – NE NE (over Houston) - New England D will dominate and Brady will play it safe and stats will suffer. Short passing game like the Charlie Weis era. Houston will be sent home by the football equivalent of a thousand paper cuts. Think Lamar is not 100% and qb situation is the better looking sister of Oak who is still just not doing it.

NE (over pitt) - Malcolm shadows 2 wr and McCourty Ryan take out Brown. Bell gets his fill and it will be an ugly run d. Brady and Blount effective but truly air game by the MVP will really be in full force. High scoring game. I think NE comes out strong Pitt rallies but NE holds em off in the end.

NFC:
1. DAL
2. ATL
3. SEA
4. GB
5. NYG
6. DET

Round 1:
6 – DET @ 3 – SEA DET - 12 man will be mad brah and Detroit gets first playoff win in a long time. Stafford looks like what I imagine Unites did for 3 of the 4 quarters and Bolden plays big against their secondary secondary. SEA is overrated. Wilson has not had a great season all things considered. Loss of Earl Thomas big on D and their secondary is beat up. Close game on scoreboard but not on tv.
5 – NYG @ 4 – GB GB - Green Bay is as hot as any team and Rogers is playing MVP caliber football. Giants are overrated and are just in everyone's heads... mine included. Remember people Aaron Rodgers is good. Eli Manning is not. Giant recipe of 1 Odell td and holding it down on D will not be enough for Rogers and GB at home. Closeish.

Round 2:
3, 4, or 5 @ 2 – ATL GB (over Atlanta) - Green Bay and Rogers too hot. Matty ice will earn is name and look frozen. I suspect Julio is not 100%. Atlanta D will play well but offense will not keep pace. Green Bay is really good!
4, 5, or 6 @ 1 – DAL DAL (over Detroit) - Repeat of last week. Close before half but all Dallas thereafter. Dak reminds me of a young Tom Brady with legs (when he was a game manager and not a GOAT). Zeke is good but cowboy line is actually better. Stafford looks more like Stafford and throws pics galore. Not close.

GB (over Dallas) - Dallas peaked too early and GB at the perfect time. Rogers will put up a lot of points and Prescott will be forced to air it out. Bryant is not 100% at all. Witten and the other guy wont put up the numbers Nelson and co will. Green Bay over Dallas is my guarantee to you all at this time. They will play... GB will win.

NE (over Green Bay) - I truly do believe NE is the best team in the league and its not close. GB and Rogers will keep close but Brady will be on a mission. Total focus of him and team. This is the most important SB because of 5! but really because of that which shall not be named. Brady will be MVP of regular and SB and my only hope is I can somehow find my way on stage so I can lick Goodell's tears as he gently weeps.

PITT over MIA - Miami's defense is utter shit. Pitt should pick up 400+ yards. Bell should go crazy.
OAK over HOU - I just think Houston is awful. Whichever QB will get murdered.

NE over OAK - Walkover. Not close.
KC over PITT - KC is more well rounded.

NE over KC - Pats offense is just worlds better than KC's, and defenses are similar. That plus Gillette and it's not close.

SEA over DET - At Seattle, they win.
GB over NY - GB are hot, Giants are pretty flawed, GB is at home. I dunno.

ATL over SEA - Seattle can't score with Atlanta.
DAL over GB - Dallas is actually good.

DAL over ATL - Dallas is actually good.

NE over DAL - 27-20 - Both teams can move the ball. We're good against the run, which won't allow Dak to have as many short throws. Dallas secondary is good, but their pass rush isn't a game-changer and Brady can figure out any secondary eventually. Butler vs. Dez will be fun - he'll get some catches, but not enough to matter. Witten could be an issue against our linebackers, but not enough to win the game.

Pittsburgh over Miami--mismatch
Houston over Oakland--ugly beats uglier

KC over Pittsburgh--KC is a more complete team than Pittsburgh. Tyreke Hill will be a big factor in the kicking game.
NE over Houston--mismatch

NE over KC--KC's offense can't stay with NE. Andy Reid makes some sort of clock management blunder.

NFC
Green Bay over NYG--Aaron Rodgers outduels Eli and Patriots Nation breathes a sigh of relief
Seattle over Detroit--Seattle is flawed but Detroit can't take advantage of them.

Green Bay over Dallas--Dak has a rookie playoff moment and Rodgers shreds the Dallas D
Atlanta over Seattle--Atlanta and Vic Beasley take advantage of Seattle's poor OL and Matt Ryan lays down the Boom on LOB.

Atlanta over Green Bay--Ryan at home on turf shreds the GB secondary in a shootout.

Hou > Oak (one of these teams does 1 thing well, the other does zero)
Pit > Mia

NE > Hou
Pitt > KC -- tough one

NE > Pitt

NFC
GB > NYG (how do Giants win? Hold GB to 13 points?)
Sea > Det

Atl > Sea (easy)
GB > Dal, toughest game in the slate/pick 'em -- if Dal pulls it out they beat Atlanta and are a huge test in what will be another virtual home game super bowl for a pats opponent but GB a tough matchup

Atl > GB -- if Dallas beats GB they beat Atl but GBs secondary is so bad I don't think they stop Atl 3 times

Super bowl 51

I think pats will win but strategically that's a bad pick in what is a 60/40 game with 90% of this thread picking NE

...good thing there's no money on the line

Ok, here goes:

AFC (straight chalk all across the board):

Wild Card-
Pittsburgh over Miami - With the exception of a Carr-less Raiders team, Miami is the weakest team in the playoffs.
Houston over Oakland - This will be the ugliest playoff game in recent memory.

Divisional-
New England over Houston - No comment necessary
Kansas City over Pittsburgh - This one should provide plenty of fireworks. This is easily the most entertaining match up the AFC could offer, short of a Pats-Steelers meeting in the Championship.

Championship-
New England over Kansas City - Andy Reid doesn't stand a chance in this coaching match up.

NFC (this is where it gets tricky):

Wild Card-
Seattle over Detroit - There's a ton of variation in both of these teams, so I'll have to give the edge to the home team. If this were being played in Detroit, I'd go Detroit.
Green Bay over New York - NY's defense is quite possibly the best one left but their offense is more than capable of putting up a big stinker. Unless Rodgers turns back into a pumpkin, I don't see how the Giants pull this off.

Divisional-
Atlanta over Seattle - This will be closer than most people would think. Atlanta's defense scares no one and Wilson is more than capable of putting up some points.
Dallas over Green Bay - On the one hand, if the current version of Rodgers had played in the last match up, Green Bay wins easily. On the other hand, that wasn't one of Prescott's finer games and the Dallas defense is playing way better than they were then. No Cabo trip = more focused Cowboys team.

Championship-
Atlanta over Dallas - Nothing I've seen out of the Dallas defense suggests they can come close to resembling slowing down that offense. Ryan leads the Falcons to a last-second victory in one of those signature Cowboys defense collapses.

Super Bowl-
New England over Atlanta - And every non-Pats fan will have to steer clear of this forum for the next six months.
