Excellent fight. I have ggg 8-4. Canelo rounds 2 3 10 and 12. None decisively. Ggg 1 4 5 6 7 8. 9 11. All but 1 and 11 decisively. Effective aggression and controlled the pace of the fight. Wouldn't mind seeing it again

The draw is fair enough. Given the differences in this thread

I can see 7-5 either was so 6-6 is ok

Earlier today I heard there was a judge that loved Canelo and would put the decision in his favor no matter what...I'm guessing that was the 118-110 guy?

I enjoyed the hell out of that fight. I thought Canelo won. 116 -112 is his max though, Byrds card is nuts.

If you scored it for GGG you scored it more like Harold. I really disagree with his card.

I don't know how you get to 7 for canelo. I don't. There is no way he won 4-7 and 9. Those are all clear ggg rounds. It strains logic that you could give canelo 8. 1 and 11 ggg landed more and pushed the pace. I'll give canelo 2 and 3 and think you can favor him in 10 and 12 although you can make the case for ggg there

When I heard 118-110 I thought well that's lopsided for ggg

117-111 to 115-113 ggg makes sense.

Alvarez winning the last 3 rounds on all 3 scorecards is pretty hard to believe that it happened independently.

Really? I thought Canelo won 11 and 12 pretty easily and 10 was very close.

Edit: Or maybe it was 10 & 12 that were the easy Canelo rounds, can't remember. Either way, had 2 pretty clear Canelo rounds and one close one out of those three.

10 & 12 were easily Canelo. I think I scored 11 for GGG

i hate the empty feeling from the Draw, but if I'm being honest, it doesn't seem wrong.

I had GGG by a round, two at most, and I'm a GGG mark, so it's likely I overvalued a round or two of his.

Classic case of styles making the fight and I think also a pretty good case study on how styles we favor as fans color our scoring preferences.
