About 2-3 PSI judging by the look of things.
So you're saying that baseball was two or three pounds lighter than it should have been.  No wonder the nats had such trouble.

I like that Brady's wearing a big "5" on his shirt. Because, you know, FIVE is NEXT.
I especially like it because so many others would be totally blatant about and put exactly that ("5 IS NEXT") on the shirt (Yankees, anyone?), whereas this shirt just assumes that everyone should know what it means.

It's like instead of saying "I know I'm the best, and this is why" it says, "You know I'm the best".  It's perfect.

I like to to interpret it as 'well, this is what I was thinking about when I woke up this morning. Didn't occur that other people would notice it, but yeah there it is. '

Tom's activities this offseason make it seem like a tremendous weight has been lifted off his shoulders. I mean, no surprise but it's remarkable how he expresses that publicly.

It could simply be that he never really allowed himself to enjoy the post SB victory bullshit before, and he realizes this is probably his last chance.

That makes sense.
While his probability of having future chances is greater than almost anyone else's, strictly speaking, it probably is his last chance.
(Not to say that we don't expect him to vie for another one...)

He also has a wife and kids that he can share the experience with this time, and it might have bugged him prior to this season that there was a possibility that his family would never get to see him as a (current) champion. It's hard not to feel really good for the guy.

Yeah, there is a 0% that Brady thinks this is last chance to enjoy a SB victory.  The dude wore a t shirt with a giant 5 on it to throw out the first pitch at Fenway.

I mean it's not like he's 38 and just had to wait a decade for #4 or anything.

On second thought, you're right: I bet he's just like "Fuck it, whatever! Win another next year anyway, bro!"

This is more like the second stage of her career than it's end.

"By the end of 2014, Gisele appeared in 6,013 television commercial spots in the course of one year in Brazil. More than any other Brazilian celebrity, even outranking Neymar who made 5,625 TV commercial spots."

Tommy's got to have a breakout acting career or become a senator to compete.

Wait wait wait.  Are they trying to tell me she filmed six thousand individual commercials in one calendar year?  I mean, I know you can pack a lot of shoots into a day, but whaaaaaa?

I'd assume a lot of that is licensed stock/existing footage of her, product endorsements, and/or repeats of the same spot, rather than 6000+ distinct, separately-produced commercial spots filmed in a calendar year.

Brady's back at work.

A source at Gillette Stadium said quarterback Tom Brady was first player in building at 7 a.m. Monday morning for the start of the Patriots offseason program.

The 37-year-old Brady, coming off his fourth Super Bowl ring and the oldest player on the New England roster, was one of several notable players in attendance for the start of the first week of offseason workouts. It was a group that included tight end Rob Gronkowski.

While teams with new coaches have been back to football since April 6, the Patriots (and the rest of the teams with returning staffs) will open their offseason program this week — the first day they are allowed back in the facility to meet with coaches is Monday.

In the second article, the accompanying video shows Brady sitting next to and commenting about his wife with another beautiful woman. What the hell with this guy. Ah, he deserves any and all good that comes his way.

I'll admit, I never quite 'got' Giselle in pictures, but damn is she mesmerizing in motion.

Call me crazy, but I just don't think this "success" thing is going to go to Brady's head...
Well, I mean he would have to actually HAVE success first for it to go to his head.

Winning four Super Bowls doesn't make one as awesome as Peyton Manning, after all.

President Obama welcomed the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots to the White House today...
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady did not attend, citing a scheduling conflict

seems like that would have to be a pretty freaking' big "scheduling conflict"..

To be clear: doesn't matter to me one bit. It would be funny if he said 'oh I had pre-season workouts so I couldn't make it'.
I'm just saying that it's not something you just blow off on a whim. It piled be even funnier if he said 'oh Barack, I can't make it this Ike but I'll see you next year, ok?'

According to Reiss, reports had him at Gillette at least for a little while on Thursday.

"For what its worth, Im told Brady was present at the stadium for a stretch of time Thursday while many in the organization were at the White House."

Quick Brady story:

My uncle runs a property for a famous rich man in Florida. Brady and his dad went down for a week to play golf so my uncle got to spend a week in the house with just Brady and his dad. Being a New Englander, my uncle asked Brady to sign gear for all of his brothers/nephews/etc... Some people in my family wanted specific things written including someone who wanted "4-time Super Bowl Champ". Brady saw that, laughed, signed it and handed it to my uncle saying 'this is going to be worthless in a year."

I had somehow missed the White House Press Secretary comments on the whole thing way back when.   It was absolutely a dickish thing to say.

It also looks extra stupid in hindsight.

Thanks Dick. Sounds like I picked a good time to go incommunicado for a week.

I just happened to hear Benz (from the awful MFB midday show) speculate that since we don't know exactly why Brady missed the White House, it's possible that it was politically related.  And if that's the case, then Brady absolutely cannot spend this weekend hanging out with Floyd Mayweather.  He actually said that it would be a bad look for Brady to show up in PBF's entourage this Saturday night in light of his refusal to go to the White House.

Of course, he covered himself by saying "speculation" and "possibly", but really?  This is what they talk about?

Brady has said more than once that while a political career was something he had on his mind when he was younger, he's pretty sure he doesn't want anything to do with that now. Do people honestly believe he is that staunch a republican he couldn't stand to be honored by Obama? This is fucking ridiculous.

Well, Tim Thomas did exactly that a few years ago. Obviously there is a huge gap in their respective statures as Boston sports icons, but it has happened.

Yeah, I'm not going to compare Brady to Tim Thomas in the batshit republican scale. I'm operating under the premise that Tom Brady is a sane human being.

IF Brady skipped as a "statement", I would put far more stock in the statements of the WH Press Secretary being the possible cause than any general political Red/Blue thing.  Or its possible he to give his teammates some time in the limelight.  Who the fuck knows.
