Krejci is out week to week. Gonna need to call someone up. Interesting Koko v Czarnik decision. Wouldn't be surprised if it is Czarnik.

There's good news guys. At my new job they don't monitor anything we do on our computers so I am free to continue spending inordinate sums of time in this place.

Sounds like they may be pulling Pastrnak back.

Would make sense timed with the Krejci placement on IR & the (initially) paper recall of Pastrnak to Boston.
If that is the case, would he go on Bergeron + Marchand's line since he's played with them before - hopefully pushing Connolly (who has been a statue lately) down to L3 and Hayes (who has been even worse) down to L4?:

63-37-88
39-51-21
72-29-14
some combination of 35-25-64-11-other roster move

or do you move Loui up with 63-37

Good thing we flew him to Finland for a game!

Thinking it through, even if he was recalled, I'm not sure he could even play tomorrow. Unless he's already on a plane now, the travel back would likely render him useless for a 7pm game tomorrow.

Looks like Griffith is the call up, according to Divver.

Clode says lots of things going on roster wise today. Griffith is there but he didn't say if it was an official call up. They have some decisions to make today.

Julien's lines have been so fluid this year. With Krecji out, the only thing I'm really sure of is Bergeron-Marchand on the 1st line, and Spooner-Vatrano on the third.

72/51 will likely be split up.

63 - 37 - 14
39 - 51 - 21
72 - 29 - 11
36 - 25 - 64

Griffith can go in for Randell if he is called up.

Spooner getting some big boy responsibilities. I haven't been a huge fan of his, but here's to hoping he steps up and runs with it. Could use Connolly doing something too. Hasn't been able produced despite playing with a top 5 center in the world and an elite left wing. Him producing would be a plus in Krejci's absence. If he remains stuck in mud, I may give Vatrano another look-see there.

When Pastrnak comes back, this is what I would go with:

63 - 37 - 21
39 - 51 - 88
72 - 29 - 14
64 - 25 - 11

Looks like it's:

Marchand - Bergeron - Griffith
Beleskey - Spooner - Eriksson
Vatrano - Ferraro - Connolly
Shithead - Talbot - Hayes

And of course Colin Miller sits while Kevan keeps playing.

And Hayes scores. Good period for this line so far.

Jimmy Hayes scores a goal, wow. Good move by Clode to move him to the 4th line.

Talbot showing a big hop in his step tonight. The couple games rest seems to have done him good.

Pathetic effort from Miller out front on the first rebound.

K. Miller gets way too much rope from Clode. Never would happen with C. Miller or Morrow.

Brookline
I think this past month is the best Seidenberg has played since before the surgeries. He's playing with aggressiveness and confidence.

To be fair, they play with the lead a lot. This is their 36th game and they've held leads in 31 of games. Only games they haven't led are the 2nd game of the year against Montreal, the 2 Edmonton games, the shutout against St. Louis and then the Ottawa game last Sunday. When teams are trailing, they're going to push, and you're going to give up goals.

No idea how Stone can argue that. As blatant as it gets.

Well, the PP is back.

Love Griffith's hard passes on the tape across the blue line. Well done.
