Does anyone have a recommendation for a wireless (battery powered + wifi) security camera? Outlets and ethernet aren't really available where I want to place the cameras.

Thx

Indoor or outdoor? Blink (in) and Arlo (out) seem to be the leaders. I've used both, with varying degrees of success. What is your use case?

Arlo just came out with rechargeable batteries, so that removes one of it's huge negatives. Video quality is great, night vision very good. Field of vision good, too. Real downside is that it only films 10 second clips, when motion is detected. So sometimes that is too short or sometimes it's a little late starting and can miss action. But no subscription for 7 day cloud storage (and you can permanently save any clips you want) offsets the hardware price... I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars.

So, what's the point of getting a wireless doorbell over getting an exterior security camera for the same price? I've been looking at Ring, but the friggen doorbell is the size of a cell phone. Am I missing something?

BTW, reviews keep coming up with the same set of wireless/battery operated stuff, so I'm wondering if there are any opinions here.

BTW, what prevents someone from stealing your security camera or doorbell? Do you need a security camera for your security camera?
