No, if phragle wants IR slots, he should start a public poll so each team can vote once. If he doesn't and a vote isn't held, then no IR slots.

That is the other reason for public voting; teams with two owners voting twice could skew results.

Not sure what the point is if we have a committee to make decisions, but whatever.

Did you vote for a committee?

The job has always been to herd cats. MMS didn't make decisions...he created polls and then PM'ed people (several times) to makes sure votes happened on a timely basis.

So post a poll.

Democracy is wicked hard, yo.

One issue that has come up for the Elcab Dolphins: Like last year, I don't have a kicker. I just found out Tampa released Connor Barth in favor of a rookie. Barth isn't on IR and hasn't retired, so he's just sitting at home without any balls to kick.

I would like to be able to replace Barth during the IR process so that I can field a full squad. I don't really care who it is, be it the guy who replaced Barth in real life or someone else. I just want to be able to have a guy I can point to as being good/bad rather than having a hole at kicker all year.

Anyone have a problem with me releasing Barth and picking someone else up?

I don't care but I also wouldn't penalize you for having Barth as your kicker during discussions.  Maybe as a last last last tiebreaker.

I'm in the same situation with Jay Feely losing his job during training camp.  I'd like to drop him and pick a replacement.

I guess this is a good question then. If we decide to flat out drop our IR players can we pick up our replacement players and not have to drop them as opposed to renting our players?
