Brady and Gronk are no-brainers.

I thought Slater might miss it this year because of the number of games he's missed due to injury. I think his election at this point might just be automatic until he's too injured.

Good on Develin. There aren't that many fullbacks left in the league, but he does his thankless and underappreciated job REALLY well. He makes the hydra the Pats have at RB better.

Here
The Slater inclusion is absurd, but that’s pro bowl voting. I wonder how far off Mason is from getting the call in the near future.

McCourty had a shot but not surprised in the least with no defensive players making it.

2 of the 3 tailbacks for the NFC are Saints and 3 of their special teamers are Rams

Develin likely has no one to thank more than PFW's Andy
Hart, who called it to the organization's attention that Develin initially WASN'T EVEN ON THE BALLOT, then shamelessly pushed for PFW Natiob to stuff the ballot box for him. (Although I think the players/coaches vote may have played a key role in that, as well.)

Whatever the case, thrilled for Develin. He deserves it. It's a (edit) shame he won't be playing in the game, or even remotely in the same state.

Just noticed that with this 7th Pro Bowl selection, Matthew Slater matches the total achieved by his Hall of Fame father, Jackie. Pretty cool.

Who coaches the PB?
Would be awesome if they gave Devlin a handful of carries. And hope beyond hope he could somehow get leading rusher and or MVP.

Or not play and protect himself for the good of the team.

But a guy can dream.

It is with great sadness and disappointment, that I report that Tom Brady, Matthew Slater, James Develin, and Robert Gronkowski will miss the 2018 Pro Bowl due to foreseen circumstances.

Anything we can do to cheer them up. Missing the Pro Bowl is kinda rough.

Mr Baker's prayers for a TD in the Pro Bowl have been answered.

And it's raining Jaguars and Browns in Orlando

Put the game on for a few min, makes the NBA all star game look competitive. Why even bother?

there are a crapload of LSU players at this game. And ODB isn't even one of them.

The guy was 5th in rating. When you subtract Brady and Wentz (for different reasons) how in the world is he not a Pro Bowler? Jesus, Jameis Winston was in the game as a rookie with a rating almost 20 points lower.

I happened to catch 1-2 plays of the Pro Bowl and noticed the refs blew the whistle much faster when the QB is wrapped up but not down. Instantaneous "in the grasp." It makes sense as a way to minimize injuries.

Not just QBs, every player.
