Imagine this team in April...May...June...
Did Smart just steal an inbounds pass? lol
As a Kyrie critic, I have been very impressed with his ability to work for his teammates in this game.
I mean wutttt
Hornets can’t miss.
Shane Larkin is pretty, pretty, bad.
Rozier is not a PG.
No one wants to shoot on this unit. Semi finishing with a three and then some nice D down the other end. Maybe a flash of his future...
Huh? He’s not on the floor, and has been good when he has been.
Yeah Rozier was good while he was out there he was replaced by Bird or Larkin I'd have to check. This portion of the game reminds me of Brad's first Celtic's team that had little talent and required crazy shooting nights to stay in games.
Theis banging in the paint on both ends and can set some good picks. Looks like a legit rotation player, especially with Baynes banged up.
Have to give Larkin some credit on the last two possessions he basically closed out the win with those stop and go moves. Other than that however he's been shitty.
Oh wow, Shane iso ftw
Wasn’t good while playing with Theis, Nader, Larkin, Semi and Charlotte was erasing a 21 point lead.
No that's a good catch he was in until 4 minutes left and was second only to Theis (-15) at (-14) I just didn't do a good job picking him out. He was good when he was out with second unit guys but objectively terrible with third unit and Theis.
Pierce, Billups, and Jaylen going pretty hard about the IT comments about Danny.
Are you worried about his knee? Not to be a Debbie Downer but I am a teeny bit. We need his muscle
I do think #15 roster spot needs to go to a veteran BIG. A player like Tyler Zeller, that will take a vet minimum.
Yabu is not the answer, the guy shows no body control and will take out our own players eventually (like he did with Baynes). Yabu needs to develop in the G-league, riding pine at the NBA level doesn't help him or Celtics long-term
Assume you mean Jalen (as in Rose) and not Jaylen (as in Brown).
Sorry, thought you guys were watching
Michelle reports IT's comments
Pierce: IT needs to chill a little, I played there for 15 years and I got traded
Billups: you traded yourself
Pierce: *emphatically* no I did not, I did not want to get traded
Billups: you don't know what it's like
Pierce: I wanted to retire a Celtic
There was bit more. Pierce was more emotional than I expected.
Yes, of course, sorry about that.
Brad's first lineup was Bass, Green, Wallace, Faverani, and AB. I think I'd take the Cs current second unit - Rozier, Smart, Baynes, Morris, and Ojeleye over that group.
You keep Vitor's name out of your dirty mouth! He was immense in Portland I don't disagree as you've set it up. However the 5 on the floor were Rozier, Theis, Ojeleye, Larkin and Nader and then Rozier got subbed for Bird. That's the lineup I was equating to Bass, Green Wallace, VITOR and Avery.
