Leicester vs Hull has been 18 minutes of dross this far but that won't rain on my parade.

Leicester don't look the same without Kanye thus far. Seems like both of the CMs are deep so it has been harder to spring forward. That said it has been 20 minutes

Is he off making another shit album then or maybe spending some quality time with the ladies?

Crap start to the season, no real quality and a stadium with thousands of empty seats - welcome back to the greatest league on the world.

Ha. Didn't notice that autocorrect. He'd be a terrible deep midfielder. A striker diva for sure

Good for Hull's players/fans - Leicester look wobblier than usual with Hernandez in for the suspended Huth

For anyone in the SoSH fantasy EPL- is the app working for you? Mine isn't showing scores.

Lol my scoreboard app showing Hull at the top of the table and Leicester in the relegation zone.

I am easily amused, I also like in April when batters are hitting .667 or .000.

Everton are playing a back 3 which the Spurs press is not prepared for. It means Everton always have a passing option out of the back because none of the midfielders want to press that high, and it means Everton have an extra body in midfield which is congesting the Spurs midfield passing game. It also means Kane is going 1 on 3, which is why he's been invisible.

The downside is that Everton lack numbers in the forward line, they are really only playing with three attacking-minded players. But all three of them have pace. And when you can score off a set piece and get a great chance off a weak back pass, lack of attacking numbers doesn't matter.

I think the right Spurs move is to throw on Janssen and play with two strikers so they can properly press the back 3. But with only 2 subs left Poch probably won't make an early switch.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut. Spurs bring on Janssen, suddenly Everton have trouble passing out of their own end, Spurs force a turnover and a get headed goal when the CBs are now more occupied. Excellent adjustment from Pocchetino.

Yeah you called that formation shift it has been all Spurs since.

Pep benches Hart and seems to have Silva in Cm and Kolarov again at CB. It won't be boring that's for sure

This is really a game Spurs should have won. They've thoroughly controlled the second half, and even in the first half when they played well Everton weren't generating much, really just capitalizing on Tottenham mistakes.

Sterling brought down for a PK and everyone's fantasy captain Aguero converts to make it 1-0.

Yes, they should have.

True, but there were way too many...

That fucking save on Lamela's shot in the ~80th minute was infuriating. I forgot how much I missed the Spurs spend the last 40 minutes peppering the other team's goal only to draw experience. I think the hype on Dele Alli is overblown and much of it should be going Lamela's way.

Spurs missing Dembele hurts because Wanyama and Dier play pretty much the same game.

1-0 ManU, on a bonehead kick back to the goalie, by Francis. Juan Mata with an easy steal and goal.

Double error by Francis - Boruc had made the save, then Francis's momentum poked the ball past Boruc to Mata.

The Mourinho era is upon us

I've watched a lot of matches, in many diffrent leagues over these last 2 years. This ManU/Bourn might be the most boring and tedious Premier League match.

Starting lineup for Liverpool

Mignolet, Clyne, Klavan, Lovren, Moreno, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Lallana, Mané, Coutinho, Firmino

One midfielder with any sort of defensive/box-to-box prowess, and no out-and-out striker... interesting to say the least

Looks like Chambers and Holding in central defense for Arsenal.

Čech, Bellerin, Chambers, Holding, Monreal, Iwobi, Coquelin, Elneny, Sanchez, Ramsey, Walcott

Not a huge surprise that Arsenal are dominating possession in the early going, considering Liverpool's one true midfielder.

Moreno with a nearly colossal fuckup

seemed a harsh yellow on Lallana for that

Moreno 2nd furthest man forward as Arsenal bomb up the right yet again... then leaves Walcott wide open but Sanchez doesn't pick his head up.

Klopp needs to make a substitution

Ugggh. I like Michael Oliver a lot as a ref but both free kicks in the last few minutes were soft. Unreal shot by Coutinho.
