PGA $ LEAGUE: ADD/DROP Thread

[Zomp]

Time for Add/Drop.  Each member can add one play and drop one player.  The order is from the bottom to the top, so Teddy is first.  Once a player is dropped, he can be added by someone else.  The changes take into effect at the US Open.

I caught the Gonzales thing after the draft. Will you just make sure I have the right one on the rosters on the website?

I guess I'm up. I'll take Alex cejkA and drop justin hicks. I should drop Tim Clark as he hasn't played once since injury but I can't find any notes and he still has a decent fed ex cup standings while hicks is just plain terrible

Depending on the speed of the add/drop there seems to be some potential benefit for the top of the leader board guys. I have some fringe players for making the fedex cup and could draft this weeks winner (for sake of point lets pretend it ended today) Greg Owen who will vault himself from 172nd in points to 57th. Anything we should do about this, or it is what it is.

I think it is what it is but only because I'm not sure the benefit is bigger than the lower guys having first pick.
 
However, I am worried about getting this done.  I've PM'd JKelley and he's been online but hasn't seen or read it yet.
 
If he doesn't pick by tonight we may have to do something like letting 5 people pick at a time then whoever gets there first gets to pick, or something.

We only have to pick one guy each, right?  There is no second round?  I think we'll get through it, because I think there will be a bunch of guys that end up not picking up anyone as we get through.  Just looking at who is available, you have very few guys that aren't on teams that have more points (or might get more points) than even the worst guys that are on rosters.  That's even more true as we get to the guys that are currently on top of the leaderboard. 
 
If you are sending text messages to folks, I wouldn't be against putting a time limit on folks that is say "12 hours after Zomp sends them a text."  If they get skipped, they can come in and pick any time they get around to it, but the draft keeps moving.

I'm gonna stand pat. I was tempted to drop Villegas or Stallings but I really don't have anyone markedly better to replace them with. Villegas being qualified for the US Open, the PGA, and the Bridgestone is the only thing saving him from getting the ax right now.
