It has to be Gio, doesn't it?Hendricks
More interesting is who's going to start for the Natinals

Common sense says yes. What Dusty Baker will say is another matterIt has to be Gio, doesn't it?
Bullpen game!!Common sense says yes. What Dusty Baker will say is another matter
He always had power, just no patience at the plate. he is a great defensive CF, finally put it all together this seasonI've never (or barely) even heard of Michael Taylor.
Red Sox had bases loaded this year, what, like about 840 times give or take? And they couldn't do that once?
Michael A. F. Taylor. For fuck's sake.
And only got his chance to play regularly because prize off-season acquisition Adam Eaton tore his ACL in April. He always had power, just no patience at the plate. he is a great defensive CF, finally put it all together this season
I'll take SmoltzI think Darling may be the best analyst
ESPN has it as either Gio or Roark, with Scherzer in the pen. Wow two days of rest after going 98, there's no way, is there?Did I actually just hear that Scherzer is going?
The Nationals, if they can line up Scherzer and Strasburg to each pitch twice in the World Series. That said, it’s really the Dodgers, but if either the Nationals or Cubs are able to beat the Dodgers, they are certainly a worthy opponent.Okay guys, the ultimate goal is the MFY not winning the World Series this year. Which team winning tonight makes that goal more likely?
I would think it has to be Gio. But FS1, in typically shitty form, announced it was Hendricks vs Scherzer during the ALDS game last night.ESPN has it as either Gio or Roark, with Scherzer in the pen. Wow two days of rest after going 98, there's no way, is there?
Either way, I'm sure the Nats are fucked, because each of the teams I've rooted for in the DS has been knocked out
Houston's no slouchOkay guys, the ultimate goal is the MFY not winning the World Series this year. Which team winning tonight makes that goal more likely?
Sure, it's all hands on deck, but starting pitching has been a real strength this series. The Washington starters have gone 7, 5, 6.1, and 7 in Games 1-4Does it really matter who starts? SP in general have not pitched more than a couple innings in the playoffs and it'll be all hands on deck.
That being said, I probably go Roark then Gio then bullpen matchups with Scherzer on alert. Try to force Maddon into over managing and reacting to the lefty/righty matchups.
Probably Washington, since NY swept the Cubs in Wrigley this summer.Okay guys, the ultimate goal is the MFY not winning the World Series this year. Which team winning tonight makes that goal more likely?
If he hasn’t in 20 years, or whatever...Baker needs to swallow that toothpick
It really was a waste. People are taking huge gambles with their ace starters in non-elim games. Astros got lucky with Verlander, Cubs may not be so lucky.Maddon wasting Lester last night was such a dumb move. He’s gotta be your guy in a big game.
He usually drinks coffee during the gamesWhat’s Maddon drinking? It looks like the chaw respository.
