Arizona's defense makes teams look bad. It also can cover some really questionable play by Arizona.

Does nobody in the PAC 12 play a 2-3 zone? Because Miller has no idea what to do with it. Conventional wisdom is that repeatedly trying to shoot over the zone is a recipe for failure, but York is so hot and Arizon's defense is so good it probably won't matter today, but they are lucky these threes are dropping.
Not precisely. Convential wisdom is to attack the back and gaps in the  zone, but also a common strategy is using ball movement to get open looks from 3 with your best shooters.
Gabe York is a top 3 point shooter, it's his role in the offense.

Gabe York can dunk?

I've seen at least 6 or 7 Arizona games never saw him even try a dunk

I know AZ's D is amazing but Russell is in John Starks game 7 against Houston territory right now. 3 of 19. Just can't get anything to drop. Nightmare game.

York made his shots, so credit to him. They are too athletic though to need a kid to shoot 5-9 to beat a zone, particularly because OSU's zone isn't even that great. I don't understand why OSU switched back to man when the got down. Just keep letting them hoist threes and hope they miss and revert to their average. Once the went to man, Arizona was able to draw fouls and create mismatches at will.

Villanova was the 4th most efficient offense in the nation.
urrently shooting under 30% from the field.

I think 'Nova sold their collective souls for the 1985 title win.  That's the only explanation for coming up short so many times since.

Open shots (and bunnies) not falling, but NC State is playing great too. Gotta give them credit too.

Keep waiting for NC State to have that "oh shit we aren't supposed to be winning" moment, but up to now they are holding it together.

They did take down an undefeated Duke team, they've been there before

So many teams wilt right here. NC State needs to stay disciplined and keep driving and drawing fouls. Don't start chucking up threes.
