That's a brutal bottom half -- Oregon and Creighton are both underseeded, imo.

Also, very unfair for KU potentially to face a conference rival (I St) in the round of 16.

KU is lucky with the NCAA rules they couldn't put Arky in Tulsa

Considering their best player is out with an injury, I'd say Creighton is actually overseeded, and they'll get beat by a URI team that is finally healthy and playing up to their preseason top 25 ranking.

Bad matchup for Vermont vs. Purdue. Haas and Swanigan have such an advantage inside. UVM doesn't have anybody over 6'8". The Cats have good guards in Trey Bell Haynes, Ernie Duncan, and Anthony Lamb so they really need to go off. They have good depth as well but just aren't big.

This is by far the toughest region for me to pick. I am not a fan of KU due to their lack of depth, but they have a pretty easy top half. I really want to pick ISU to the elite 8. The bottom half would be easy if Boucher were not done for the year. And that potential matchup with Louisville is really interesting and tough to pick. Both OSU and Michigan have the guard play to make a run. Come to think of it, the whole region has excellent guards. May still stick with Oregon.
