How the hell does 'Bama schedule someone like Chattanooga this late in the season? Same with Auburn and Alabama A&M.

Are we not sure it's Alabama v. Auburn (I know, I know...that's next week) and Chattanooga V. Alabama A&M.

Aggy always does that. They schedule cupcakes at the start of the season to pad their record, then another late to help them recover from the indignity of having their asses handed to them by real teams in October. Typical aggy bullshit.

WakeyLeaks.
A little dust up following the Wake Forest - Louisville game last week:
Wake Forest football staff members discovered materials left behind by Louisville last Saturday that showed the Cardinals were prepared for plays the Demon Deacons had not run before, raising suspicions of a security breach, a person with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.

Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson acknowledged Wednesday the school was investigating whether data might have been leaked to Louisville or stolen. Louisville won the game 44-12.

Athletic director Ron Wellman said in a statement Wednesday that he notified Atlantic Coast Conference Commissioner John Swofford and Louisville AD Tom Jurich after the documents were discovered by a member of the school's travel party.
Will be interesting to see if this gets a mention during tonight's Louisville-Houston game.

That situation is even stranger because while the final score looks like (and was) a blowout, Louisville was shut out until just before halftime and they've been crushing teams in the first half all year. Since Wake Forest seemed to know about this before game day, I wonder if they changed their plans and that confused Louisville as they were expecting the plays they'd gotten illegally.

Specifically because of the following week. Need a bye before they play their rival

What a thorough ass-kicking that half was. I've been rooting for Louisville all season, that was seriously disappointing.

Just saw portions of the game in passing but every time I flipped through Louisville was getting stuffed. Houston defense was an absolute terror. Complete destruction. Very impressive.

I love it when a team ranked 5-8 this time of year whines about the playoff ranking system then goes out and lays a tremendous egg to basically end the conversation. When Bobby Petrino is involved it's even better.

Used to be the case Aubie took its bye the week before the Iron Bowl (it seemed like the entire SEC West took its bye before Alabama week three/four years back). Saban got Bama to schedule an FCS opponent the week before to rest up for the Tigers. Played it on a Thursday a few times for maximum "really a bye" impact.

Terrific TD by Michigan State on that opening play, but tOSU's defense was sloppy. In particular, the safety bit on the run fakes and was nowhere to be found when MSU got a great downfield block to open a seam for the RB/receiver -- that should've been a 20-yard play, not a 70-yard play. Wonder if the lack of worthy competition is eroding their discipline.

Watched a bit of College gameday this morning for the first time in years. Has lee corso had a recent stroke? His speech seems a real struggle.
Corso had a stroke in 2009 and battled back. He is 81 now.

Speaking of strokes, Floyd The Barber had one early in the Andy Griffith series run and they only did closeups of one side of Floyd's face after he returned to the show. He was even funnier after the stroke.

Go Spartans!

Not a very impressive win for Ohio State. Not impressive at all. But a win nonetheless. Last year, they lost this game.

Still love the call
As a Spartan fan I thought the call sucked and the play call was even worse. If they are 10-0/9-1 there is no way they go for 2. Then, after running it down OSU's throat on that drive they throw the ball with an awful QB. Terrible play call.
