For those who don't know, Baylor's starting QB is out for the season after hurting his neck Saturday in the monsoon and had surgery Sunday.

Their backup QB is a true freshman who was the No. 1 QB coming out of HS. He's played in blowouts and his numbers are crazy good but we'll see how much it impacts the Baylor offense going forward. Huge loss to a team that is arguably the best football team this season.

Their next 5 games are rough too. @KState, Oklahoma, @OK State, @TCU, Texas. I could easily see 2 losses in that, effectively taking them out of playoff contention. Texas and Oklahoma have a chance to play spoiler (funny thought, right?) to these Big XII undefeateds.

UNC and Duke haven't both been ranked when they've played in football since 1939.  Duke beats Miami on Saturday and that will change next Saturday.

Holy shit, that Oregon touchdown on 4th down at the end of regulation was pretty amazing.

That was one of the more ridiculous games I have ever watched... glad the Ducks won. Clearly, throughout the night (and history, for that matter)... the refs lost.

Buddy Teevens taking a page from the Andy Reid Handbook on Clock Management in losing 14-13 to Harvard. I guess he wanted to save those two timeouts for the Cornell game next week. Dartmouth defense deserved better. That one hurt.

Just got back from the Harvard game. What an incredible comeback for the Crimson and what a gut punch for Dartmouth. Dartmouth controlled the game for 55 minutes.

According to two sources within the Columbus Police Department, Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while impaired (OVI) early Saturday morning near campus.
Barrett was arrested near High and Tompkins, just north of Campus after policed noticed the player attempt to avoid an OVI checkpoint in the area. Per CPD sources, Barrett was cooperative and blew into a breathalyzer, registering slightly over Ohio's legal limit of 0.08 blood-alcohol concentration.
The quarterback was released to his teammate, fellow quarterback Cardale Jones, who provided Barrett a ride home.

I thought I heard the department policy of two weeks didn't apply because he was charged with a misdemeanor.

Anyway, could be a trap game here for Michigan.  Running into a Minnesota team playing with some emotion after their coach resigned this week due to health issues.

I don't see it, gap between these teams is too big. Defenses don't usually have bad games.

Which makes the decision by the SEC to make aggy kick off at 11:00 and completely fucking their black uniform plan all the more hilarious.

This Texas coaching staff is making it hard to defend them. I haven't seen a single adjustment. The team came out looking completely unprepared for what Iowa State would throw at them, yet we're steeped in yet another third quarter letdown with the team still looking clueless.

Welp, this was clearly wrong. With Rudock concussed, Michigan is going to lose this game.

Two weeks to prepare. How on earth did we beat OU?
They didn't have two weeks to prepare. That's not to excuse this pathetic excuse for a football game but they did play last week.

No words. Getting shut out in Manhattan is one thing. Getting shut out - a year later, mind you - in Ames is unacceptable.

Sorry. Irrational right now. Visions of losing to Cougar High by three touchdowns.

Unlike Gronk in Carolina, by getting the call correct.
The ref announced the penalty. Then after review said it was from the side. He didnt signal a penalty then confer then correct it. He announced it. I have never seen that before.

Michigan, in case you're wondering, is even with the football gods. Unless the gods are pissed about messing with the traditional uni's, in which case they're fucked.

I'm assuming what you'll hear as an explanation (if it ever comes) is the penalty was picked up because the flagging ref was overruled by a ref with a better angle and that the flag was not reviewed on the replay, and that the only thing the replay reviewed was the laterals and the knee. The ref calling the others together before the announcement makes me think they reviewed the penalty on film, and had a meeting on field to give them the conference to overrule that without the tape.

But yeah, never seen that.

The Miami kid coming off the bench without his helmet on before the TD was scored should walk away very quietly and hope no one sees him

He looks clearly down on a still shot I have. Not sure how they review a penalty and not that?

Looks like both legs were down, as in knees and thighs.
