If my OSU Cowboys knock off the Kansas Jayhawks this weekend they will be 7-0 for the 3rd time in the Coach Gundy era, the 3rd time in my lifetime, and the 4th time ever. (Wow the Cowboys sucked for a long long time).  Since it's SO rare for them I'm skeptical they can do it, but Kansas is sooo bad... Hopefully this will be the first convincing blowout for the Cowboys. I do think they're playing way over their head, they've had so many lucky wins this year. But I don't want KU to be the team to end the magic.

Kansas has a legit argument to being the worst FBS team in the country. OSU isn't great by any stretch but they should easily beat KU.

I don't believe in curses, but I've also learned not to get my hopes up too much about the Cowboys. In all likelihood though, it will be Texas Tech or Iowa State that provide the embarrassing loss. TCU, Baylor, and OU will also be losses, but they won't be surprising. If the Cowboys go 9-3 it will be an awesome season.

Barrett to start this week for OSU.

Not a huge surprise I guess, given the second half this past week. But, I can't get over the feeling that the inability to commit fully to one of these guys is going to end up coming back to bite them.

Anyone else watching this crazy Tulsa/Memphis game?  The teams have scored a combined 28 points in the first 9.5 minutes of the 2nd half.  Unbeaten and 18th ranked Memphis now leads 49-35 with about 5 minutes to go in the 3rd.  Paxton Lynch already has 408 yards passing and 3td's, and Dane Evans has 325 yards and 4td's.  3 receivers are already over 100 yards, including Tulsa's Keyarris Garrett who has 8 catches for 183 yards and 3tds, including a hail mary that he caught to end the first half.  Fun shit.

MYRTLE BEACH!!!!
Clemson just methodically having their way on offense. Miami committing just enough personal fouls to remind everyone of the glory years.

21-0 in the first quarter.

Kayaa just looked at his O-line after getting up from the sack like "you guys know you suck, right?" They are down early and are going to have to throw and its likely he gets killed today. Actually he's going through concussion protocol. Hate to see that.

Not going to make it to Clemson this year. Will be in Columbia for the Clemson- Carolina game. Unfortunately Spurrier won't be there.

Gameday is going to James Madison. That's cool.
I might be the only one of my college friends not in Harrisonburg today. They had more people show up for when the ESPN buses arrived than most schools do for Gameday.

Texas finally opening it up a little bit. Should help loosen up the defense a tad to open up the run game again.

What the fuck are these Texas coaches doing? How have they not pounded into Heard's head the concept of throwing the damn ball away?

And Swoopes just runs all over K-State for 40 odd yards in 3 plays to put it away.

Horns are on a winning streak!

And the crowd sings "Swoopes, there it is!" Love it.

Texas is getting better. Little things they're doing better.

KState is pretty terrible right now but they matchup isn't great for Texas and they played pretty well. Need three more wins which I doubt they do but they have some things to build on.

Need a QB who can throw still.

Kansas and Iowa State are must wins.  Then you have to get 1 of @WV or TT.  I think it's very possible.

Beating Iowa State and Kansas is no longer far fetched. Say they go into Morgantown at 5-4, needing to win just one of the next three. A tall order, to be sure, but sand aggy at home on Thanksgiving night is as good a setup as you can get for stealing one.

Edit: Or what bb said.

BTW, horrific news out of Stillwater. Drunk driver slammed into OK State homecoming crowd and killed 3 and 8 are critical and were flown to hospitals. Many more hospitalized.

Edit: a 25 year old woman was arrested for DUI.

Woo pig sooie. Good lord what a game against Auburn today. The Hogs are good for an epic OT battle every few years.

Navy QB, Keenan Reynolds had 2 more rushing touchdowns today.  Now at 75 for his career.  FBS record of 77 by Montee Ball likely to fall soon.

Hey so far I was right. Maryland is absolutely dominating PSU. If they hadn't turned the ball over twice in the red zone this would already be blowout city.

They really should bench Hackenberg. He is useless.

I've been beating this drum for a while now, but I get the feeling Michigan State is a very good, but not quite elite team. They went down to the wire against Purdue and Rutgers, and now they're in a battle with Indiana. Now that we understand Oregon is a bottom half Pac-12 team, their performance in that game doesn't look impressive either.

Tennessee has 2:24 to score a touchdown and eliminate Alabama. They moved the ball impressively on their last drive.
