I'm not sure how I feel about this upcoming Texas-Cal game. Part of me is terrified, and part of me is excited to see how Bedford is going to defend against that offense. Then I think about how I have to watch our offense and I get terrified again.

I have Cal blowing UT out, 37-13. Hope I'm very wrong.

Navy QB, Keenan Reynolds scored 5 rushing touchdowns today.  He is on the verge of quietly dismantling the career record for rushing touchdowns, which is 77 held by Montee Ball since 2012.  Reynolds now has 70 by my count, and seems to get 2/3 every week, so he has a shot to reach 90 by year end.

Huskers were down 33-10 with 9 minutes left, just tied it up in the final minute. Miami has had 2 safeties ejected for targeting.

Miami just blew a 23-point lead to Nebraska. Overtime is likely next.

Edit: what everyone else just said

Joe Robbie is usually empty for UM games, but it looks like most Canes fans who bothered to come have already departed.

FOX's college football product SUCKS.

Shit image, bad audio, and Gus Johnson doing PBP.
They didn't even bother to send announces to Boca for Miami-FAU. Fox is evil.

LOL.  On the first play in OT, Armstrong throws a terrible interception, and on the ensuing return, Nebraska offensive lineman hits the defender so late he was practically sitting on the bench.  After the penalty, Miami starts their drive on the 12.5 yard line.  Now down to about the 3.  Field goal and the game is over.

Great stat on ESPN right now.  Teams are 3-2429 when trailing by 23 or more in the fourth quarter in the last 10 years.  If the Miami kicker hits this field goal, it'll be 3-2450.

That's a great stat.

The Texas offense is growing up in front of our eyes right now. Hard to believe that Shawn Watson thought Tyrone Swoopes was the answer at QB.

Now we'll find out if the defense can live up to the offense.

I think UT makes a bowl, but they have stalled this game. Cal should've been called for blow to head there.

Surprised it's turning into a laugher. Texas wasn't sharp in first half but at least they had energy. Heard's stumbles a factor, but the defense has been absolutely porous - ultimate blame there.

That is back to back terrible spots by the same ref in the 'Bama game.  He squeezed Henry by a full yard, created a third and inches, and then Drake clearly got a yard passed the first down marker and he basically spotted it on the line.  Very, very obviously off both times.

So Alabama is not very good

I'm not sure I'd say that.  They have one huge, massive, glaring weakness.

Unfortunately, it's the most important position in the entire universe of sports.  Coker is not a national champion quality QB.  Shit, he made not be FBS quality, IMO.  Teams are basically not respecting him at all, playing the receivers (who may be the only other position grouping that I would consider average) man to man and having everyone else key on Henry and whatever other running back is in the game.  Their offensive and defensive lines, their entire defense, their running backs, special teams, etc. are all top of the top, but if you don't have at least a serviceable quarterback, you ain't winning at the level 'Bama is playing at week in and week out.

And as I'm typing that, they have to blow one timeout to avoid a delay of game penalty, and would have got hit with another if 'Ole Miss didn't inexplicably call one for them.

After I typed, I realized how over reactive I was, being it is Alabama. I do feel that OSU beat some of the Saban mystique last year though.

'Ole Miss with a 7 point lead, getting the ball to start the 3rd, and with a little over a minute left on the clock, they decide to kneel on it?  Not sure I agree with that.

Txas down 7 with 3 minutes left. They could've been up, down three scores, but haven't. They probably lose but the lots to build on with offense. And a defense that needs a miracle this season to become decent.
