How did 8 receivers have double digit receptions?

It was my understanding that the Oregon State at Michigan game would be on the American Broadcasting Company at noon.

Could be.  I just went with the pre-season television schedule.  As the caveat goes: "viewers are advised to check their local listings".

But you note is well taken.  If I start a new thread in subsequent weeks, I'll look up the most  current/recent listing instead of referencing the pre-season schedule.  Gawd knows the schedules can change like wheat in the wind as teams' records and ranking can dynamically alter the television broadcast landscape potential attractiveness of certain games.

THAT would have truly made Rosen a wunderkind.

Like that old line one of the ESPN guys would say "...not all in the same game. That would be a record."

There's some confusion. Here's what is happening in the state of Michigan on Saturday:

- Oregon State plays Michigan in Ann Arbor at noon on ABC.

- Oregon plays Michigan State in East Lansing at 8:00 on ABC.

Where did you get this preseason schedule that had all these other games, but not this one?
The original schedule came from USA Today here, which reflected: Oregon at Michigan State, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2, 8

Edit: Apologize for the confusion.  As I mentioned, going forward, I'll find the latest schedule to post when starting a new thread, and won't refer back to the original schedule.

Anyone betting Boise vs BYU should take the under. Boise struggled on O last week with a new QB and BYU lost their starter to injury. Add Boise's defensive might and I think score stays low.

Is this OoC for UVA?  Doesn't ND have to play like 5 ACC teams/yr?

That's a good question.  I think the scheduling is more of a contractual agreement than a league membership arrangement.  By that I mean that ND may be required to play those games, but remains independent (for football and hockey) and will not be competing for the conference championship.  At least that's my understanding.

A couple of pretty interesting rivalry games tonight. Utah vs Utah State and Miami vs FAU are both competitive around halftime.

And now Utah State's QB, Chuckie Keeton, limps off the field with what looks like a potential hip injury. That would likely doom the Aggies.

Seconded, they've been the gold standard for several years running. 506 Sports (the guy who does the CBS and Fox NFL regional coverage maps) has a pretty good site too with announcer information and a schedule grid. Most importantly, the times are Eastern! http://506sports.com/ncaaf.php

http://506sports.com/ is great for TV schedules for NCAAF and for figuring out which NFL games will be broadcast in your region. Also shows who's doing pbp which means I've watched a disproportionate amount of Sean McDonough games. Really can't recommend it enough!

edit: should have scrolled to the bottom first I guess, so seconding Domer on this. The graphic showing time slots and networks is helpful for picking out interesting games if you don't have a huge vested interest already

By week 12, I think Michigan will be pretty good. By week 12, Texas um won't be.

This Penn State team might be one of the most poorly coached D1 teams I've ever seen. Holy moly. They have no idea what they're doing (illegal formations, missed assignments, etc.)

Auburn down 10-6 to Jacksonville State.  Don't sleep on an upset here.  JSU has some real experience at the skill positions with Eli Jenkins at QB, Trumaine (sp?) Pope at RB, and WR Josh Barge.  They can score points with anyone, and with a weak Auburn defense, and Jeremy Johnson still not looking comfortable, there is a real chance for a huge upset.

Auburn player just got called for targeting on a hit to the QB.  Going to replay now to see if he's going to get tossed.  I don't think he should be.  He was coming in just as the QB went into a slide, and there wasn't much of a chance for him to pull up. Technically, it's probably an ejection though.

Wow, what a break for Michigan.  OSU punts it perfectly, down inside the Michigan 2.  Illegal procedure call leads to a second punt, bad snap, punter tackled by Michigan on his own 3.  95 yard penalty.

OSU punter should have kicked that ball through the end zone and taken the safety.  Not a lot of time on the clock, and I think it would have been a better result than giving the ball to Michigan on the 2/3.  Result ended up being a Michigan td.  I assume they practice that play when a ball is snapped into the end zone, but probably tough to expect him to think about it when he's on the 3 and thinks he has a chance to pick it up and get a punt off, but he really didn't.
