    • Miami at North Carolina 2:30 pm ESPNU / WatchESPN (North Carolina comes off a 66-31 thumping of Duke and looks to put to bed any talk of the Hurricanes winning the Coastal Division (Unlikely, but not impossible, since it would require them to win out and combine that with a UNC loss to either VaTech or NC State.)
    • Michigan at Indiana 2:30 pm ABC / ESPN2 / espn3 (The #15 Wolverines take on a Hoosier squad that has lost 5 in a row.
    • Nebraska at Rutgers 2:30 pm BTN / BTN2Go Video
    • Oklahoma State at Iowa State 2:30 pm ESPN / WatchESPN

    • Alabama at Mississippi State 2:30 pm CBS / CBS Video (The Elephants open as less of a favorite vs the Bulldogs than they did against LSU (-6 to -7, respectively. State looks to avenge last year's 25-20 loss in Tuscaloosa, whenState was ranked #1 and sttod at Alabama #5)

    • Western Carolina at Texas A&M 6:00 pm ESPNU / WatchESPN
    • Arkansas at LSU 6:15 pm ESPN / WatchESPN (Arkansas looks to leverage the adrenalin that likely still running after an extraordinary 53-52 victory over Ole Miss last week. And the Tigers are probably fighting mad after their perfect season was interrupted by Alabama last week, 30-16).
    • BYU vs. Missouri 6:30 pm SEC Network / WatchESPN (Will the mess at Mizzu be abated by President Wolfe's resignation? Probably better that the game is in Arrowhead this week).
    • Oregon at Stanford 6:30 pm FOX / FS Go Video (At 4-2 (6-3 overall), an obviously disappointed Ducks squad looks to throw some water on Stanford's parade. The Cardinal enter at 7-0 (8-1).

Not to give my man Desmond too much credit, he picked them at the beginning of the year to much chortling on the Gameday set, but if Stanford wins out including beating the French and winning the Pac-12 Championship game don't they make the final 4 over any of the Big 12 teams or a second SEC team? After that loss on the opening weekend to an OK Northwestern team I thought they were cooked but 12-1 has to put them there (while also knocking out Notre Dame and either Utah or UCLA in the process.)

Not sure this has been posted, but:
Easily my favorite running gag of this season. Talk to your kids about an undefeated Iowa. Before it's too late.

Amazing their schedule didn't include Michigan, MSU, or OSU. Talk about fortunate. They will likely get their chance in the B1G title game. Will be super interesting if they somehow win the B1G and are undefeated - 50/50 chance or maybe worse that they get left out of the playoff.

Here's an interesting question: who would have a better chance of making the playoff - a two loss Michigan team that wins the B1G (this scenario assumes OSU beats MSU, then Michigan beats OSU), or an undefeated Iowa team?

An undefeated Iowa team because they're undefeated. A two loss Michigan team would need multiple other things to go its way to get into the playoff. A lot of chips would have to fall. I believe 538 had Michigan's chances of making it 7%. I would say that sounds right.

That includes the chances of actually winning out. They say if UM wins out, it has a 42% chance of getting in the playoff. (That number would be higher if OSU beats MSU, of course.) Iowa at 96% if it wins out.

Right.

Iowa would be the undefeated B1G champ. Michigan would be the two loss B1G champ and with the other Power 5 conferences and ND still in play, it would be hard for Michigan to jump all of them. Michigan would probably need Stanford to beat ND, but also lose one of their remaining games. They'd need chaos in the Big XII. It would probably help if Bama lost to Florida after Florida loses to Florida State. There is a lot of those type of things that would need to happen.

Texas is terrible.

Edit: which is to say that they have some good individual players, but are so poorly coached that they just can't string together any consistency. Stupid penalties, dumb turnovers, terrible clock management, unimaginative play calling, poor tackling, etc.. I wouldn't mind if Charlie left for Miami and we started over.

Well, yeah. You just would expect better out of a team that is coached by a guy who preaches discipline. Apparently, he only expects it off the field.

Charlie Strong is a very shitty football coach who employs very shitty coordinators. I give up. I've seen enough regression.

At least we have basketball. Oh wait we lost to a Ashington team last night that probably doesn't win 3 Pac 12 games!

Mike Gundy is on the verge of blowing his second national title opportunity in Ames, down 24-7, should be 28-7 if it weren't for a friendly replay crew.

Over under in the Memphis game is 70. I love seeing numbers like that. Also, Indiana is playing ball right now, hanging with Michigan, their defense is hitting really hard.

Iowa State robbed on the spot of a key third down late---costs them a shot to take the game back.

Then again, they completely blew the game in the first place, so...

Holy shit, what a fucking stop. Not a pretty win, but you gotta have a few of those to improve as a team.

Great, terrifying game.
