  • Ball State at Western Michigan 6:30 pm CBSSN
  • Baylor at Kansas State 6:30 pm FS1 / FS Go Video (Can the Bears vault past the tree nuts?  With the Jayhawks suffering through a 3-4 season to date, even an impressive win would make that seem unlikely, unless Minnesota can pull the upset over tOSU on Saturday)
  • Mississippi State at Missouri 8:00 pm ESPN / WatchESPN (at 6-2, the #24 Bulldogs take on what surely is a disappointed Missouri squad that stands at 4-4 on the season).
  • Nevada at Fresno State 9:30 pm ESPN2 / WatchESPN

[*]Friday, November 6th
  • Cornell at Dartmouth 7:00 pm NBCSN / NBCSN Video (The #24 (FCS) Big Green looks to recover after a stunning 14-13 loss on a blocked field goal at game's end last week vs Harvard (a great game write up here)
  • Rice at UTEP 7:00 pm CBSSN
  • Temple at SMU 7:00 pm ESPN2 / WatchESPN (Mr. T would say, "I pity the fool...", as  the 1-7 Mustangs will face an Owl squad that surely will be pissed off after last week's 24-20 loss to the Irish, who went down 20-17 with less than 5 minutes to play but then scored with a little over 2 minutes on the clock, and then intercepted an Owl pass to end a threat).
  • BYU at San Jose State 10:30 pm CBSSN

[*]Saturday, November 7th
  • Akron at UMass 11:00 am CBSSN
  • Charlotte at Florida International 11:00 am CSCA *4 / ASN (affiliates TBA)
  • Duke at North Carolina 11:00 am ESPN2 / WatchESPN (This game could have ACC Coastal Conference implications as the #24 Tar Heels enter atop the conference at 4-0 (7-1 overall) and Duke stands at 3-1 (1/2 game behind Pittsburgh and 6-2 overall)
  • NAIA: Evangel at Avila 11:00 am ESPN Extra / espn3
  • Florida Atlantic at Western Kentucky 11:00 am FSN Affiliates / FS Go Video
  • Illinois at Purdue 11:00 am BTN / BTN2Go Video
  • Kentucky at Georgia 11:00 am SEC Network / WatchESPN (The Bulldogs likely are playing for pride now, as they have slipped from the Top 25 (after being picked at #9 in the pre-season poll) and stand at 5-3).
  • Notre Dame at Pittsburgh 11:00 am ABC / espn3 (Upset alert.  My prediction is the Irish go down in this one).
  • Penn State at Northwestern 11:00 am ESPNU / WatchESPN (The Nittany Lions look to build upon noticeably improved performance while drubbing Illinois 39-0 last week).
  • Princeton at Penn 11:00 am ALT2 / CSBA *4 / ASN (affiliates TBA)

  • DII: West Georgia at Florida Tech 12:00 pm ESPN Extra / espn3
  • Illinois State at South Dakota State 2:00 pm ESPN Extra / espn3 (A match up between two FCS heavies, as Illinois State and SDSU enter ranked at #2 and # 11, respectively).
  • Richmond at New Hampshire 2:00 pm NBCSN / NBCSN Video
  • Virginia at Miami 2:00 pm (ESPN Extra / espn3) blackouts / FSN Affiliates / ACC-RSN (Miami practiced for last week's game vs Duke by lateraling Al Golden to the showers, and then honed their talents on an 8-lateral TD - not without controversy.  This is the type of opponent the Cavaliers ALWAYS lose to in the last few seconds, typically on an interception in the end zone or blocked FG - and in the process giving my Wahoo diehard father a heart attack).
  • Arizona State at Washington State 2:30 pm FS1 / FS Go Video
  • Arkansas at Ole Miss 2:30 pm CBS / CBS Video (Ole Miss enters 4-1 in the SEC (7-2 overall), but the 4-4 Razorbacks typically get up for these kinds of games)
  • Army at Air Force 2:30 pm ESPNU / WatchESPN (Army will have to beat both Air Force and Navy to win the C-in-C Trophy.  Don't look for that to happen).
  • Cincinnati at Houston 2:30 pm ESPN2 / WatchESPN

  • Stephen F. Austin at Central Arkansas 2:30 pm ALT / ASN (affiliates) / SLC Video

  • Utah State at New Mexico 2:30 pm CBSSN
  • Western Illinois at North Dakota State 2:30 pm ESPN Extra / espn3 / NBC ND (cable)
  • Wisconsin at Maryland 2:30 pm BTN / BTN2Go Video
  • New Mexico State at Texas State 3:00 pm ESPN Extra / espn3
  • South Carolina at Tennessee 3:00 pm SEC Network / WatchESPN
  • UConn at Tulane  3:00 pm ESPN News / WatchESPN
  • UCLA at Oregon State 3:30 pm PAC-12 Network / PAC-12 Video

  • Iowa State at Oklahoma 6:00 pm ESPNU / WatchESPN
  • Michigan State at Nebraska 6:00 pm ESPN / WatchESPN (The 8-0 Spartans take on a proud Cornhusker program, but one that is currently suffering through a 3-5 season. The horrors of Children of the Corn may be repeated).
  • Navy at Memphis 6:00 pm ESPN2 / WatchESPN (The 8-0 Tigers enter at #15, but likely will be tested by 7-1 Navy's QB Keenan Reynolds, who has amassed nearly 1,200 yards total offense and scored 15 TDs)
  • Sam Houston State at McNeese State 6:00 pm ESPN Extra / espn3 (The 8-0 Cowboys entertain the 6-2 Bearkats, who stand respectively ranked at #9 and #7 in the FCS)
  • Towson at Maine 6:00 pm SNY / ASN (affiliates TBA)
  • Auburn at Texas A&M 6:30 pm SEC Network / WatchESPN (At the beginning of the season, both teams probably expected this to be a crucial game.  Today?  Not so much, although it could still prove entertaining).
  • South Florida at East Carolina 6:30 pm CBSSN
  • Utah at Washington 6:30 pm FOX / FS Go Video (With their bubble rudely and thoroughly popped  2 weeks ago by USC, the Utes enter 7-1 and ranked #13)
  • Kansas at Texas 7:00 pm LHN / JTV (The Longhorns' long shot at a bowl were flushed last week by Iowa State).
  • LSU at Alabama 7:00 pm CBS / CBS Video (Oh my!  Switch the channel from FOX after the TCU-OKState game to pick up the next must see game.  The #4 Tigers (7-0) visit the Bear's Lair in Tuscaloosa to take on the #7 Elephants (7-1).
  • Minnesota at Ohio State 7:00 pm ABC / espn3 (The Buckeyes hold a 43-7 advantage in the series with Minnesota, whose last win against the Buckeyes came in 2000.  Look for a continuation of the same)

Kansas State is the Wildcats; Kansas is the Jayhawks.

I desperately want a Big 12 team in the playoff.    I know TCU is way down this year compared to last year, but if they can make it unscathed they deserve it.  I still think they would have won the playoff if they got  a chance last year.

I want to see Briles or Peterson going head to head with Saban or Meyer

I think OSU will pull off one upset at home, and it probably will be OU (which is an upset because OU really is the better team). Then they lose on the road to Iowa state to completely negate it, wind up 9-3, and 3rd in the big 12. If a big 12 team goes 9-0 in conference, they deserve a spot. Even if it's the Cowboys (fat chance) they'll deserve a spot. I think Baylor and TCU have a better chance of getting that spot if they got undefeated than OK State does. They hosed OK State once for Alabama, they'll do it again.

If this does happen, give me a call. We can make a road trip out of the killing spree.

You have no idea how much I want to see this happen. I'm surrounded by dipshit Baylor fans and nothing would give me more glee than to once again hear them whine about being left out, because OFFENSE.

I like this. A lot. Baylor shall henceforth be known as rapey.

Blueprint for Baylor being printed now. You will score to be sure -- just don't do it too quickly. Run tons of clock, keep it close into 4th, and maybe you pull it out. Alabama and others would put up 400+ yards on the ground against these guys.

They tried the same thing with TCU.  Yes you can play keep away.  Try to run and keep them off the field,  BUT as KSt is finding out, you have to score 7 every time.

That's why you want a Baylor or a TCU in the playoff,  then you have a chess match.  As opposed to someone like a ND who is a good team, but there is nothing special about them,  no chess match elements

Anyone watching penn st? Am I the only one wondering why Franklin didn't start calling time out with a couple mins left?

James Franklin wasted a good 45 seconds by not calling a TO. NW kicked a go-ahead FG (now up 23-21) with 8 seconds left.

Coaching clock management is abysmal.

Terrible PF on FSU there, some on the guy was still inbounds when he hit him.

Oklahoma State with back to back bombs down the sideline to burner, James Washington, up 14-6 now on TCU in the 1st. I want all of these big 12 teams to get exposed for the gimmicks they are. Offensive juggernauts and nothing else. I firmly believe Baylor, TCU, etc. would get absolutely destroyed by teams like Ohio State, Clemson, LSU, Alabama, etc. that can play on both sides of the ball.

I also really, really hope ND doesn't sneak into the playoffs with one loss. If I had to choose between them and an undefeated Big 12 team, give me the Big 12 team.

Looks like it. Too physical for them. FSU may really live to regret that game they pissed away.
Yeah that is going to be a very hard one to explain away. GT has 3 relatively tough games left, they might end up losing 9 of their last 10 with the one win being beating FSU

This is my favorite tweet in a while.

@JimmieTramel: TCU in its biggest hole since being tossed in a ditch when Southwest Conference disbanded.

Iowa in a dog fight with an underrated Indiana team. 21-17 Iowa halfway through the 3rd.

Oklahoma State defender stepped out at the 1, no touchdown, but knocking on the door.

Louisiana Tech RB, Kenneth Dixon with 4 more touchdowns so far today. Who cares, you ask? That now gives him 68 career on the ground, to go along with his 11 receiving. I believe the record from scrimmage is around 83, and he and Keenan Reynolds from Navy are neck and neck on who will finish the season with the record. If Dixon didn't miss parts of 2 seasons with injuries (he 5td's as a sophomore, after scoring 28 as a freshman, and 28 more as a junior, and he missed about 3 games this season), he'd be knocking on the door of 100 right now.

LOL. Boykin gets the quick score to close the gap and get some momentum, and Rudolph heaves one up to James Washington again for 74 yard touchdown to answer right back. The Big 12 no defense show continues. 42-16 with about 8 minutes left in the 3rd. Amazingly, you can't even call the game over at this point.

Putrid play calling by FSU on that drive. Just embarrassing and they are pissing away an amazing performance by their D.
