I have prime and i can't stand sporting events on it, streaming sports sucks, always has and always will imo!

But i have been saying for the last half decade that soon most all of it will be pay walled from season start to the end and playoffs and for all major sports leagues.
Every year a little more is moved over and it's easy to see where they want to head with this...

Your "soon" is at least a two decades away, if not much longer. Major leagues like the NBA know the marketing and business value gained from the broad reach provided by broadcast networks. Yes, more regular season games will run on streaming services, and some playoff games too. But broadcast and cable networks will be a major part of a league's distribution mix for the foreseeable future.

The MLS utterly botched their distribution approach by putting everything on Apple TV+. The power that the Messi effect could have on the future of the league has been unbelievably blunted because almost none of his MLS games are easily accessible.
