Ainge really did both Jordan Crawford and Toney Douglas an amazing solid by sending them to more competitive teams.  Crawford gets the playoffs while Douglas might get a ring.

it's awesome to have a system of replay in place, but because it's not an arbitrary time int he game they aren't allowed to use it and instead just have to say "fuck it, jump it up"

He is actually very good but he can't play against the Clipper front line.

Yeah, I meant tonight, not in general.  I agree, he has been absolutely swallowed up by the Clipper front line.

With rebounding and inside defense a problem, Mark Jackson goes with the interesting Iguodala/Barnes/Green front line combo on that possession.

Not a ton of great options, but that's not going to work against Griffin/Jordan.

Actually it works because it draws them out of the paint.  Its the only reason there is a game seven.

I'm talking about on defense.  I'm pretty sure they made that substitution while they were shooting FTs. I can see how it might work well on offense, but weird timing to make that move.

No one else on the team has more than 3 fouls, but Jackson allows Green on the floor with 5 fouls and he commits his 6th with the intentional foul.  Jackson seems like a great motivator, but some of these late game decisions tonight have been maddening.

I guess it doesn't matter when Curry puts up an absolutely terrible shot.

Well, great season for Golden State.  It will be interesting what happens with the team next season given that they will have a new coach.  The Clippers are a very good team and credit goes to Blake Griffin who clearly put in a lot of work during the offseason in improving his game all the way around.

He was the inbounder.  Doc knows what he is doing.

I meant the possession before with 30 seconds to go when it was 118-115 and Griffin was dribbling up the court and found Jordan wide open for a lob.

Sorry, DeJesus, but man do you have a fun team to watch. I didn't understand why Curry didn't get more shots, especially down the stretch.

Why is Mark Jackson leaving

He battled with the front office all season.  It sucks because while he isn't the best Xs and Os coach, he is a great motivator.  You can have the former but without the latter, you still wind up in the same spot.  HRB nailed it above - you go as far as your star players take you.  This series, the Warriors clearly missed Andrew Bogut who would have provided much needed interior defense.  If he plays, I think the Warriors take this series.

Thunder/Warriors would have been the best thing since Kings/Mavs over a decade ago.  Thunder/Clippers is a nice alternative, but the Clippers are not all that likeable with Griffin and Rivers and the ESPN love.

The entire Clippers D was geared to stop Curry.  Trapped on every pick n roll, switching and doubling after every screen.  Also grabbing and holding him a ton.

It's amazing he got off as many shots as he did, and managed 33 points, in my opinion. Curry is incredible, but I never got the sense they weren't going to him enough.  Paul  et al. were all over him all game.

That seems harsh for a first year coach, they should at least give him 2 seasons

This is his third season.

FWIW, I agree coaching is overrated, and if you are well-liked and respected by your players, thats half the battle in the NBA.  Doesn't mean I think Jackson is a good coach.

The Bogut injury was definitely a killer this series, but I still think the Warriors can get a better coach.

I don't have much of an opinion on Jackson as a coach, but I do think he is an absolute idiot based on years of listening to him announce. His kind of motivation tends not to work for more than a year or two at the pro level, maybe he'd be better off coaching college.
