Clears, remember where they were New Year's Weekend?  Losses to SMU and Houston?  And now they are playing in THE last game of the season?

This is a far cry from the days of Dee Rowe and happy to be making the NIT.  My dad went to UConn in the 70s(reason why I'm a fan) and he's just dumbfounded as to where this program is.  I'm just so happy at this point.

I gave up on them. Daniels was dogging it on D and Calhoun was a disaster. Then the Louisville game when they quit and there was talk that Napier and Boat were having issues off the court...this is crazier than 2011 IMO, especially given Ollie, the AAC, the APR stuff, everything. I mean all the forces have been against this program. the great thing is this is such an FU to the ACC and ESPN.

But whatever on all that. These kids are so tough mentally and well coached, its hard not to like them.

Say what you want about Calipari, but the guy is easily in the All-Time Top Five in the "lights scalding fires under the asses of his basketball players during time-outs" category.

Huge run by Kentucky, like 16-0 or so.  Take a 9 point lead, and Wisconsin responds.  Now, a 3 point game.  This one is shaping up to be epic.

What an AWFUL call there. 100% ball. And now it leads to a 3-pt-play chance for UK. Bullshit.

Kentucky is impossible to ignore. Every possession has the chance to a train wreck or a top-10 highlight. their offense is to drive to the basket one on whatever with head down and draw fouls or get offensive rebounds

I feel UConn's team defense can really give Kentucky fits.

It looked like a Kentucky player tore an ACL in the post game celebration.

edit:  it was Poythress, but it looks like he's walking gingerly now.

KENTUCKY DOES IT.  7 vs. 8 in the final.  I can't believe it.  Best tournament in ages, IMO.

Couldn't agree more, the best one in ages for sure, so wide open.............

I had the Florida and Wisconsin broadcasts on my feed, they were homer-y but very professional. Definitely made the game feel more immediate.

Also, It was nice to not have corny Jim Nance
