In Jason Mastrodonato's article in today's Herald about the season opener, he said, "One year after the Sox hit just 123 home runs, their lowest total since 1994, those in the clubhouse were particularly happy with the result."
 
Yes, the club only hit 120 home runs in 1994 but does Mastrodonato know the club only played 115 games that season?
 
That aside, since he seems to be new on the beat for covering the Red Sox for the Herald, I thought he should have a thread. Personally, I have not been impressed. What do other think?
 
Btw, the 1993 Sox hit 114 HR in 162 games and the year before that they only managed 80 for a full season.
