Ladies, gentleman, Stripes....all that stands between the Bruins and playoffs are three wins at home during the last week of the season against inferior and/or mediocre competition. If this scenario had been presented on October 13, 2015, everyone here would have sprinted with their playoff structure scenario wagon in hand to hitch to the nearest Honda Ridgeline to begin the march.

The first unfortunate victim is the once maligned yet proud ex-Hartford Whalers. It doesn't look like Peter Sidorkiewicz made the move down to Raleigh and Paul Maurice is off looking like a sexual deviant behind Winnipeg's bench now a days, so I like our chances.

Buck up ya'll, it's going to be a fun week ushering the NHL playoffs back in to town. Maybe infuriating as well due to some of our personnel, but we got this.

Agreed, every one of us would have taken this scenario at the start of the season. Let's hope they can execute. Backs against the wall, lets see it for 180 minutes.

I've been on board with this team from the beginning, guaranteeing a 90 point season (check) and the playoffs (not checked). I am way less confident right now than I have been all season. They're showing a lot of heart, but also the defense is fucking terrible.

Win this one and I feel a little better. Win Thursday and I feel a lot better.

I just looked at the schedule and already feel better.

The Flyers and Red Wings play each other Wednesday and both play Thursday with the Red Wings playing the Bruins. The Flyers have 4 games left, but they play back to back twice and 4 times in five days.

I'm confident the Bruins will finish in either playoff spot given the schedule.

It seems somewhat fitting that a season that began with a disastrous 3-game homestand comes to a close with a 3-game homestand. It's right there in front of them. An opportunity to make up for that opening homestand and prolong the season. It is right there for the taking.

I wish I had some confidence in them, but I don't. It's been a 79 game roller coaster to get to this point. The issues that plagued them in games 1-3 are still there heading into game 80. It'll probably be a white knuckle finish, but who knows what happens. Just win the first shift tonight and go from there.

Are you on comcast? MLB is doing the free preview of the extra innings package which means you get the NHL games free too since they're on the same channels (6621-635 for us). I would assume other providers are the same but I can't speak to that.

A Flyer-Red Wing 3-point game throws a wrench intho things.

Colin Miller is in. Seidenberg is out. Kevan Miller is a maybe.

Good to see our 3rd best defenseman is back in the fold.

As much as I want to see playoff hockey this year, I'm more concerned that this team doesn't give Dumb and Dumber a reason to fire Clod.

Please win tonight.

Between here and everywhere.
Time for this team to show what kind of team they want to be remembered as.

A blowout would go a long way to gaining some momentum to make the playoff push.

Jimmy Hayes, not a fighter, or a scorer, or a good defensive forward. No idea what Sweeney saw in him.

Vatrano just followed a great smart hockey play (just putting the deflection into the corner where no one was) with a great physical hockey play to get position and draw the hold. 2 great plays and the B's get 2 minutes of Power Play. Too bad there's no stat for "smart hockey plays"

It could have been worse than 1-0 if Rask didn't come up big a couple of times and thanks to the post.

Well, that was frustrating. I guess that's one way to get a quick answer to their problems. Fold the tent up and get ready for golf.....orrrrrrrr you fucking little frustrated bitches can sack the fuck up and stop having a fucking pity party every goddamn time you fall behind after outplaying someone. You. Are. Better. Be better. Show that when the world spits in your eye, that you get the fuck up, grab the nearest sharp object and gouge that fucking world's eye out. Fight, you fuckers. Hit. Crush. Destroy. Just win.

If this team can't rally and beat down Carolina with their season on the line then missing the playoffs will be a mercy killing.
