@PortlandSeaDogs - Sea Dogs to become the Maine Whoopie Pies on June 21st.

It's not Montgomery Biscuits good, but it's still pretty good.

Unfortunately it wasn't enough to fill the Whoopee coffers, and they folded after a season.

They were able to hack it a bit longer as a franchise in the CHL - 1996 to 2001.

Related trivia question; TRUE or FALSE - The Isotopes played in Burns Stadium before moving to Albuquerque?

    (Rice4HoF is ineligible to answer...)

Yeah, but they weren't known as the Isotopes.

Phew, I was really upset until I clicked through the link. Sea Dogs is one of the greatest team names/logos/mascots of all time.

The question was about the name of the Stadium, not the team...

I think his point is that the way the question is phrased, the answer is False: The Isotopes never played in Burns Stadium, the Cannons did.

The Calgary Cannons played in Foothills Stadium, which was formerly named Burns Stadium (1990s to 2002). The Cannons became the Isotopes after moving to New Mexico. So what's the problem?
