Hey!
I just wanted to let you know, Kevin flew down yesterday ( Aug. 6th) to Ft. Myers. He should be working out today at Jetblue field.

Just a quick update, Kevin played 7 innings today. This was his first time playing today. He was 1 for 2, a single down to right field. His first shot was a long ball to the out field, but was caught. He ran home from 2nd. He caught one in the outfield, no errors. He usally has great patience when on the plate, and good speed with strong arm. Looks like the micro-tear has been healing pretty well.
On another note, you can also look up the Westhampton Avaitors for the 2011 season. He broke thier HR record last year, and you can check out his stats. Hopefully he will turn out to be a 40th round sleeper...

First game against the Pirates today, he was 1 for 3. Single in the seventh I believe. He had a hit earlier, but it was a fielders choice. Had a great defensive inning. (Fifth I believe) He had three fly balls to him, he caught all three. Could be wrong, but I think batting avg. was .281 today.

Nice finish to the season in a 5-3 Lowell win. 2 for 4 with 2 solo HR's, his first two as a pro.

Final stats--GCL/Lowell

.290/.371/.468, 2 HR, 5 RBI. Will be interesting to see how he does with a healthy season next year.

Agreed! He had just started to get into his comfort zone. Will Lowell put him into any workout routine for the winter?

According to whitneyrifle, Heller jammed to his shoulder and was sent down to rehab.  He is now in Greenville and gas a great start in his first 3 games.  6 for 13 with a 2B, 3B, 1 run and 3 RBI.
