6'2 200 lb C out of UC-Laverne.  Transferred from UCSB after his Junior year after playing only 15 games (played 19 as a Fr and 34 as a So)  Only hit.227 as a freshman and and .146 as a sophomore.  Did have a .350/.432/.571 line his senior year with 7 HR and 54 RBI in 40 games.

Finished the year on Greenville's DL.  I will be curious as to where he starts next year (GCL?).

He pitched 1 game at UCSB in 2011.  He had 47 assists in 2 years at UCSB but was not much of a hitter at that level (.227 in 2011 and .142 in 2012).  He had 43 assists (8 errors) at La Verne in 2013.  My guess would be he has the arm but not much of a bat, so the Sox will try him as a RP.
