#3 and undefeated Virginia is down by four at Miami in OT on ESPN2.

Now in double OT after James Anderson made a late three and Miami couldn't get a shot off

UVA pulls away in 2OT to win by 9

Brey > Roy

You have to figure Paige is going to get double or uin that case triple teamed, with 1.4, Roy. Dumb play and execution.

Cannot lose that game.  Notre Dame was dead in the water the last four minutes and UNC's offensive execution was not good.

I failed to remember that UNC players actually have to go to class now, so less time to practice.

Texas basketball tonight is mimicking the bowl game performance. I can't remember a Texas team playing this poorly. God I hate Rick Barnes.

I was at the game tonight, and was at the Stanford game a couple of weeks ago.  Rick Barnes simply cannot coach offense.  They are methodical (in a bad way) and predictable on offense with little cohesion, movement, and imagination.  They are huge, but don't make any kind of concerted effort to consistently get the ball low.

Barnes is actually a good reflection of what the school seems to care about with the program.  He is steady, competent, predictable and never going to be great.  UT is just not a basketball school and Austin is not a basketball town.  The crowds are just consistently meh.  Heck, I suppose if the UT fans can't make noise at football games, which they care about, then there is no shot they'll do so at the basketball games.

KY's regular season success is all about motivation. They can go undefeated, if they want to

Unimpressive once they get some guys fouled out. Where's that depth?!

Baylor just benefited from one of the most blatant non-called push-offs I've ever seen. Iowa State had just buried a baseline three to take a one-point lead with 13 secs left. Kenny Cherry nonchalantly brought the ball up before realizing the clock was running (with no time-outs) and turned on the jets across half-court. Then, before he abruptly halts, he shoves his defender with a stiff-arm and steps back for a 15-foot jumper to the right of the key. The Cyclone defender goes flying backwards, then slips and falls on a wet floor spot and can't recover. Swish.

Yeah, I know. This shit never gets called, let alone in the waning seconds of a close game when the home team has the ball. And I fucking detest it. Neither announcer even mentioned it, instead crediting Cherry for "creating space off the dribble".

Utah (No. 8) and Arizona (No. 10) go at it tomorrow in Tucson.  Since losing by three at Kansas, Utah has won seven straight by double digits including an average margin of 24.5 in Pac-12 play (admittedly the Pac-12 kind of sucks outside of Utah, Arizona, and probably Stanford).  Arizona, of course, has final four talent, including an impressive big man rotation.  I haven't seen the line for the game yet but I bet it's pretty even.  This should be a great game.

As an aside, the go-to hashtag for Ute fans is #goutes, which I can't help but to read as a certain uric acid disease attacking the feet, afflicting Doran Martell among others.  This is the best we could do, I guess.

KU was fortunate to win that game, too, after blowing a 20-point lead or so early in the second half on a neutral/semi-home court. That game was at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.

So Kentucky has really struggled against a lot of SEC teams, who generally suck a lot and aren't tournament bound.

However, I think it's really a motivation issue. Come time for KY to play name brand teams, their merry bunch of mercenaries will step it up.

So wait do you have an opinion on this Kentucky team's performance?  Confused what if anything your reply had to do with Kentucky's non-dominant performance against crappy teams.

San Francisco giving #2 Gonzaga fits right now.

Gonzaga always plays one WCC game where they play down to the level of the team they are playing and end up losing.  Thankfully SF was not that game

Kentucky plays great defense inside the three point line and have enough guys who can score to win every game. They will lose if some team gets hot from three and Harrison's think they need to take 20 plus shots in a game. However, this team does not get a lot of easy looks in the half court. But they are reasonably efficient because guys can hit tough shots. Keep them from running. Hit threes. Etc.

Lol at ND. How is that team in top 10. They haven't won a legit big game since Brey has been coach. Look at their record in BET or NCAA. Or in road games. Soft as charmin.

I'm no ND fan but they have two Top-10 wins......in the past 5 weeks alone! One on the road at the Dean Dome vs the Tar Heels, the other vs Duke.

Beating unc is a top 10 win? How bad is college basketball? I watched Louisville play twice. Seems they have three guys who can play, a fourth who can dribble and nothing else. Literally. And they are ranked in top5?

My point is that come March ND will be where it always is, losing in the first or second round of the conference and NCAA tourney.

I just looked at ND schedule. Their big wins were at home vs mich st (who is bubble team) at 18th ranked unc by 1 and Duke at home. Who they then lost to by 30. They only have one game left vs NCAA tourney team at Louisville so they will surely be overrated come march. #easymoney

When Kentucky hooks a team in the tourney that looks them eye to eye and doesn't wilt like these SEC teams I wonder how they'll react.
