It'd be hard for me to come up with a playoff loss that bothered me less than that game. Maybe 2009 Baltimore, but that's it. Shit, I'm more bothered by not making the playoffs in 2008 than I am about losing that super bowl.
2002 is worse than 2008. 2002 they might have won.

Such a weird year. Miami, KC, NE, and Denver were #3, #4, #7, and #8 in DVOA and none of them made the playoffs. Meanwhile Tennessee (#11) and Pittsburgh (#13), and Indy (#20) rack up double-digit wins against a soft schedule and, most bizarrely, it's the Cleveland Browns (#15) who wins a four-way tiebreaker for the second wild card.

I didn't mind them missing out on 2002, for one reason: they kept their "magic" alive with the week 17 comeback against Miami, and making the playoffs may very well have resulted in a loss; instead they won their next 7 playoff games to set that record 10-0 streak. That week 17 game was fun though.
