I suck so bad I don't follow the shitty protocol of when to start it. Of course this position has been previously endorsed by one of our dark overlords. Plus I've got a busy couple of days and I will forget.

I still really don't think South Florida is a good place for a hockey team.
Ex-girlfriend on mine got married recently, and at the wedding I was talking to her old man. They're Finnish (he's a boat captain, they lived around the world but settled in Ft. Lauderdale) so he knows the game and he said he'd dropped his season tickets because the hockey was crap and the few fans who showed knew jack shit. We laughed and I bought him another drink.

We agreed that Jagr was amazing though.

I have a friend who is probably the best hockey player I've ever played with and a big Wings fan from Detroit. Played a year over in Europe in probably the second league in Germany or something similar. Tried to convince me Chara was a goon based on his PIMs. He hated Marchand and Lucic, which is reasonable, but he also said he hated Krejci, which gave me pause. I couldn't get a legitimate reason out of him so I'm curious if there's any reason anyone would hate Krejci? He seems like Mikko Koivu where there's no real reason to love or hate him unless his team is a rival. I'm open to contrary opinions but that one really confused me.

Edit: I'd agree about Jagr if he could actually score a fucking goal like 3 years ago. Yeah I'm jealous he's still playing and being the Jagr.

I'm not a big Krejci fan because of his inconsistency, but hate? Very strange. Unless maybe Krejci Jagred his girlfriend.

Feels like it has been forever since they played. It's like this season is the reverse of last season where they were playing 4 games every 5 days the first two months.

Florida is 1 point back of us, so an important game here. We do have 2 games in hand, but it'd be nice to get some separation from a team trailing us.

Marchand is just playing out of his mind right now. He has so much confidence and skill, it's amazing. He's becoming an elite player.

I feel like Luongo saw that Marchand was going to get to the puck and hustled to get off so that the goal wouldn't count against his average.

They've given up 4 goals combined in the last 4 games. I think the defense has come around and I trust Claude is doing the right thing.

Given the start to the season and the mess that the defense was in, I'm giving Claude a lot of credit for getting this team playing well on the back end.
