Thanks for the advice...it looks like the Samsung s4 or the HTC one...iI will go with the s4 most likely unless the price is much different. Let me know how you like the motox after a few days with it
Just ordered the Moto X. Somewhat of an convoluted transaction because I have a weird account with Sprint and they don't let me buy a custom design. I had to buy it off-contract and then use my Sprint upgrade to get an iPhone 4s Gold/16gb that I'll eBay to cover the difference.

If this wood back is nicely done, it'll all be worth it. I never use a case, so this a rare chance for me to give my phone a bit more style.

I'll report back when I've had a few days with it.

Just a reminder that the 4s will come with a different SIM than you need for the Moto X. I'm assuming that the Sprint store can help you out there but it may take a visit there to get the right one.

Will I need to mess with the SIM? I thought that was for unlocked phones.

I was planning to leave the iPhone boxed and ship it as-is.

When I ordered the Moto X, I chose Sprint as my carrier. I assumed it would come with one and I could just activate over the phone.

My wife and I both had old Android phones, and had been talking about switching to iPhones for work reasons - we both use software at work that has iPhone apps but no Android apps.

We made the switch today because I dropped my old shit Android phone and broke it.  So we got iPhone 5s's.

I am a dumbass and didn't even think about the SIM card issue.  I assume that we won't be able to use our old SIM cards?

T-Mobile, if it matters.
