Don Yee says it didn't happen

"Tom was not diagnosed with a concussion last year," Yee said. "Many of the protocols and safeguards still are evolving, and it's obviously a good thing the organization and everyone close to him is vigilant and always looking out for his health."

Edit: this isn't going to help things. "Not diagnosed" does not mean "did not happen"

Why. Is Don Yee. Speaking.

I get that agents typically weigh in, but God I hope this statement was put together with consultation from Brady AND the Patriots.

Well, if it's undiagnosed, how would anyone know it happened?

Because he dumber than a box full of hammers when it comes to this stuff. He cost Brady mightily in DFG.

So this goes to the top of the page, naturally, on ESPN and PFT -- when there was no need to say anything and when the only thing about Brady was a luxury car endorsement deal.

At this point I'm blaming the wife and the agent, not the League, and don't give a fuck. The League can't sanction the player. It cannot sanction the team unless it knew and did not act, which I don't believe. If TB is hounded, he needs to look at his loose-lipped wife and agent.

Yee-sh! If only he would follow the BB school of media relations and not give any oxygen to anything.

And here we go, for our next Patriots scandal!

I don't blame Gisele, because she's probably right and is talking out of concern for her husband. But that's not the point. We all know what this will lead to.
“The NFL and NFLPA have conducted comprehensive evaluations of the Concussion Protocol as it applied to Tom Brady during the 2016-17 season. This review included an examination of all game film from every Patriots’ game last season, every report from the Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultants and Booth ATC Spotter assigned to those games and Mr. Brady’s medical records, which were produced pursuant to a release signed by Mr. Brady. This review identified no evidence of any deviation from the Protocol by the Patriots’ medical staff or the Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultants assigned to Patriots’ games or any indication that Mr. Brady sustained a concussion or reported signs or symptoms consistent with having sustained a concussion. We appreciate the cooperation of the Patriots’ medical staff in conducting this review.”

Yes. Concussions are one area where the league and the team will be 100% in alignment. There is no benefit to either party claiming the other was at fault. None.
