Freeny, I'd assume.

Informed the team I am looking forward to my 14th season. Steeler Nation will get my absolute best! — Ben.
I bet he typed that with his arm proactively in a sling and his foot proactively in a boot.
Not sure where to put this and it absolutely does not deserve it's own thread, but in the "sponsored stories" column of the SI.com home page there is an article "Ex-Patriots Cornerback Headed To Prison For Ponzi Scheme" (no, I'm providing a link). I click on it and discover it's Will Allen. I try to think of a Will Allen playing CB for the Patriots and can't - is my memory failing? No, turns out he played five seasons with the Giants and six with the Dolphins, then signed a one-year deal at the vet min with the Patriots and was placed on IR before the season started and never played again.
Those cheat-y Patriots always cheating people!
"the nation's tears", perhaps? Or wasn't there a thread about biased coverage of the Patriots, perhaps titled "it's not paranoia if they're actually out to get us" or the like?
But yeah that's pretty absurd. Not ESPN-insinuating-the-Tomase-thing level obnoxious, but more "you gotta be kidding me".
Isn't the whole point of sponsored stories to be the clickbaitiest of the clickbait? It's hard for me to get upset that some ad guy thinks he'll get more clicks by indirectly appealing to the notion of a Pats-cheating connection.
Exactly. I should have put it in one the threads Face mentions, or not at all, but I was still a little drunk from breakfast and got lazy.
I wonder if the same story was headlined "Dolphin" in Florida and "Giant" in the tri-state area

Former Giants' DT Johnathan Hankins, the top-rated available free agent, is signing a 3-year, $30M deal with Colts, source tells ESPN.
On mobile but Schefter just tweeted the Lions new uniforms
50 Shades of Slay.
Here is the Lions uni change (apologies for those on mobile)
Still don't look like Lions. Follow Bengals lead or don't even try
Not sure which one is following and which one is leading, but I don't think either the Lions or the Bengals have ever really even tried.
Broke out the Jason McCourty posts.
What? I assume you're messing with me, but in case you aren't
Bengals use the colors that Tigers really are and their helmets are striped:
Just teasing about both teams being fairly inept.
I thought the Bengals color rush unis were bad ass and would have been perfect if the helmet could have been white with black stripes
This is honestly the worst thing I have read on the Internet in a while. I can't even imagine. I don't think you ever come back from this. The poor child and poor family.
Yeah, I saw that when I got home from work and it made my stomach turn. Just an awful tragedy.
I just put my scared three year old daughter back to bed. I will not be going back to sleep now after seeing this on ESPN. I can't even imagine...
Brutal story for Heap and his family. I agree, it's tough to come back from that. It's "what if" for the rest of your life.
Goddammit. It shouldn't happen to anyone, but Heap is a really good guy.
The feeling getting out of the truck must have been unfathomable. So incredibly sad and tragic.
Two sentences from an article on ESPN struck me.
Since 2007, Heap and his wife have operated a foundation to help sick and disadvantaged children.
(This confirms sentiments above. Separately, the Baltimore Sun reports he pledged $1 million to Med-Star for a pediatric unit).
Second, attempts by the AP to reach Heap Saturday were unsuccessful.
(This happened yesterday, I believe. Do you motherfuckers have no decency? There is little if any news value in this beyond a man's broken heart. Reporting it can wait a few days.)
Yeah, that is a horrific story. My kids are older, but as a parent I couldn't imagine anything like this. I can't even begin to understand the pain the parents are going through.
I mean, how do you even keep going after something like that? Obviously you never really move on. I can't even imagine. That is horrifying.
A guy I grew up with did this, and in the tragic aftermath, started http://www.kidsandcars.org/child_story/tegan-bartow/, which is dedicated to improving safety.
This apparently happens much more often than you'd think
By keeping other family members -- and especially your other kids -- in mind. We cannot compound the tragedy by ruining other lives, especially young lives. I imagine that is the thought process beyond whatever comfort one can get from religion. Heap comes from generations of Mormons. I don't know how religious he is.
What a tragic trauma he and the rest of his family must now find a way to navigate through. I wish then all the strength they need.
The GMC truck banner ads all around the Heap story on ESPN.com might be proof that the machines aren't quite ready to take over yet. Not a good look at all.
Akib Talib faces no penalty by the NFL for shooting himself in the leg last year: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...n-ends-aqib-talib-wont-be-suspended-or-fined/
Plaxico is displeased at that outcome no doubt.
Doesn't play for Pats. That has its perks just ask Richardson last year.
Fortunately he missed his cell phone, so penalty required...
Jesus can we please stop with these jokes that weren't funny when they were initially written every time someone isn't suspended four games?
Bills tackle Cyrus Kouandjio found shirtless and acting strangely near scene of an accident. Sounds similar to the Chandler Jones incident.
Bills should be used to losing their shirts. Seems to happen in every Bills transaction involving Belichick.
Honestly, people complaining about people who make DFG related comments and snark are way more annoying than the actual DFG related comments and snark at this point. Just ignore it.
Of course, instead of expressing your annoyance, you could equally ignore those who complain about people making DFG comments.
While I thought it was more probable than not that I would get this as a response, I figured since that point hadn't been made yet, it was okay to do so. However, I will eschew making such comments going forward.
And now the people responsible for the sacking have been sacked.
I went to the bottom of the vat and it's turtle soup all the way down.
Meh, I'll take one comment compared to the same five jokes by the same ten people whenever anybody is suspended. A man can only take so much.

Trubisky at 1 this year, but not Wentz? Does not make sense. GM's in NFL believe Browns are split in their building on who to take at 1
