They got outplayed in the first two periods, but that was a hell of a third period, Toronto wasn't flying up and down the ice and living in the B's end.

That was a great game to steal. Outplayed most of the game but Tuukka and DeBrusk were electric and the rest of the team was opportunistic. Love it.

Ain’t going to steamroll through all 16 wins. Need to steal more than one along the way. Every playoff win is beautiful.

Huuuuuge win. They were dominated for most of the game, but played it like expert poker players - took a bunch of small losses but capitalized when they had an opportunity. Really smart play. Close it out Saturday.

Only one penalty in the game. Wow.

Rest Bergy if helpful, that’s the luxury they have now by stealing one in Toronto.

There are Rask haters? What would such a creature even look like?
They are everywhere around here and it's mystifying. He's one of the best goalies in the league bar none. Fans of other teams laugh at us for complaining about Tuukka. He was unbelievable tonight.

I texted DummyHoy at the beginning of the 3rd that the Bruins were gonna suffocate the Leafs in the 3rd. You just knew when they survived the terrible first two periods with the lead that they'd lock it down. And then the entire Toronto crowd just disappeared in the 3rd and you could hear their season going down the drain. Bruins will run them out of the building on Saturday.

I call this piece "Tuukka Rask is in fact good"
Looks more like the weather forecasts around here lately.

Not assuming anything, but curious because of Bergeron...if the B's and TB both win in 5, do they start the next series right away or do they wait for the other series to end?
They wait. Finishing early will buy them rest. But then we get to debate rest vs rust...

I don't usually watch playoff games at home due to season tickets and no cable, and I really miss being able to game thread. But it's great to read after the games.

All I have to add is that I will fight any Tuukka or Danton Heinen haters.
