my only comfort is Boston dominated the entire game...that's also the part that sucks.

Still going to win this series easy

I feel the same way.  This sucks, but I'm not nearly as upset as I should be.  The Bruins were the better team tonight and it wasn't even fucking close.  Price played insane at times, there were 2 or 3 posts and 4 or 5 pucks behind Price that didn't go in, and it still took them 2 OT to beat Boston.

This is Detroit winning Game 1 all over again.

Here
Hockey Gods didn't want Boston to win that one. They're in trouble now, they just have big trouble beating this team, even when they outplay them.

That's why the "put the whistles away in OT" is bullshit. Because they don't stay away. You go from being able to murder someone in front of the net to that.

Thought that was an extremely weak call for double OT but whatever. Hats off to Carey Price.

I'm not saying he didn't play well, because he did, but how many pucks did the B's get behind him that didn't get in the fucking net?

They somehow both deserved to win 10-3 and deserved to lose like this. Just perfect that this was bookended by pp goals. Welcome to another Montreal series, where one team gets multiple power plays in OT.

The Vienna Boys Choir hockey team couldn't stay out of the box against this fucking team, so you better fucking put away the dozens of golden opportunities their shitty defense provides. Unlike the usual Montreal loss, the Bruins were the better team throughout pretty much the entire game. They have no business losing this series and if they do it will be because they choked horribly. Price made sure the Bruins didn't score 8, but the Bruins made sure they didn't score 12. Literally no worse way to lose a game unless it was an elimination game.

Claude should take the muzzle off Lucic so he can fight and keep himself off the ice.

What a craptastic sports day.  Sox get swept by the Rays… Bruins lose in 2OT to the Canadiens.  Ugh.

2011. Also, last fucking week.

They play like that throughout the series, they'll be fine. Montreal wants to end this series quickly. Just don't let them.

The Habs are riding a wave of bullshit this year.  Sooo many games where they look like dogshit, yet pull out the win due to lucky breaks.

I didn't. Get a stick on a guy right in front of the goalie like that, it's going to be called. Bart got beat on the play and took the penalty.

The knee had to be called, but I thought the one in Double OT was on the same level as the Bergeron one in OT that wasn't called. Bergeron probably would have had a breakaway.

Montreal could not have been fucking luckier. Impossible. Absolutely dominated the entire fucking game. Fucking lucky shitheads.

Fuck you Price. Get mites and lice and scabies. Prick.

Meh. Shit tends to even out. I'm far more disappointed in Krejci's play, plus the stupid defensive plays that directly led to Montreal goals.

funny... pretty much everything they're showing Subban doing should've been a penalty.

You're probably right, they didn't show much of a replay here.

Where was that penalty all night? That could've been called ten times on both teams.

Pierre was a douche most of the game, but he was right about that call. It was a scoring opportunity, and that's what prompted the whistle. Anything else gets let go.

I thought the refs actually did a great job tonight. I can't really bitch against any of the calls that went against the Bruins, and there weren't that many of them in the first place. They really did let these teams play.

A number of hard hits from the Bruins tonight would absolutely 100% be penalty calls in Montreal. That's an incontrovertible fact.
