Yes sir. Not bad for a 5 hour flight! So they were down for like 30 seconds... lol not bad
Great decision...……...you changing jerseys changed their luck.Changing things up... Winter Classic jersey is back in the closet, Home Black is being donned.
Broken clock meet blind squirrel...Love the cut of your jib, RIF!
apparently analytics now say you should empty the net with 3 minutes left. interesting.Early on the open net, no?
That got noticed at the bar, fucking awesome of all the guys as you said...Feel like Kampfer played a heck of a game even without considering the goal.
And I’m still laughing about Marchand pulling Clifton off of Staal to keep him from negating the power play. Of all the guys...
The thing about Thomas’ run that gets glossed over is that he was kinda garbage in a few not-Finals games.Obviously Thomas was crazy in the Finals in 2011, but up through this point in the playoffs, Tuukka is playing better now than Thomas did then.
Yes. Clifton too.Feel like Kampfer played a heck of a game even without considering the goal.
Intuitively that feels early to me by like 30-45 seconds but that is probably two and a half decades of history talking.apparently analytics now say you should empty the net with 3 minutes left. interesting.

This guy gets it.We're winning this fucking game. Fuck these fucking fucks.
The saltiness of his tears quenches my depleted electrolytes from drinking tonight.
I thought the 2nd one was at least debateable, but consistent with the game. The first? Sorry, Dougie......The saltiness of his tears quenches my depleted electrolytes from drinking tonight.
Eh with the long layoff it really feels like game 2 is the one set up for Carolina in that they got their feet wet and rest won’t really benefit either team at this point more than the other. I don’t think this goes past 5 games and I am optimistic it is even shorter. This was a huge win. This was the game Carolina should have stole. Boston on short rest, down their only #1 defenseman. Now the Bs get 2 days off and McAvoy back. It's going to be a tough series, but it's only going to get easier from here. Also, leave Dougie Hamilton alone :-(
I kinda disagree about the rest. I think it benefits the Bruins more than Carolina. Carolina just had 5 days off and should be relatively fresh. The Bruins have been playing just about every other day since 4/11, 14 games in less than a month through 2 grueling series. The extra day will help guys recover, particularly the older group that makes up the core and Rask who obviously hasn’t had a game off.Eh with the long layoff it really feels like game 2 is the one set up for Carolina in that they got their feet wet and rest won’t really benefit either team at this point more than the other. I see the "feet wet" angle as them realizing "oh shit. These guys aren't the Islanders. More and deeper talent. And they keep playing even if they hit a patch where they are dominated." Whether that knowledge is enough is hard to say. But from my couch it looked like the last 3-4 minutes of the 2nd period, when the Bruins really tilted the ice, got into Carolina's collective, between-periods head and affected the way they played in the 3rd.Eh with the long layoff it really feels like game 2 is the one set up for Carolina in that they got their feet wet and rest won’t really benefit either team at this point more than the other.
The fans mocking him was hilarious. Whatever happened between him and the Bruins years ago, it's still funny (and interesting) to see his reputation around the league morph over time.I thought the 2nd one was at least debateable, but consistent with the game. The first? Sorry, Dougie......
True, I guess between games 1 and 2 the B's do benefit a bit more.I kinda disagree about the rest. I think it benefits the Bruins more than Carolina. I guess the extra rest is partially offset by the stale factor. Either way, I don't think the Canes are long for this series.I see the "feet wet" angle as them realizing "oh shit. The stats may say different, but it seemed as though the bottom third of the Bruins roster dominated their counterparts.
Wouldn’t say dominated, but they were excellent. By line at 5x5:I see the "feet wet" angle as them realizing "oh shit. These guys aren't the Islanders. More and deeper talent. It doesn't look quite right, but I can't figure out what's wrong. How dare SoSH update since 2011!Now we’re talking!
So, I was cracking up at this last night for a good 10 minutes.

Then I saw it again today, and I can't stop laughing. This is just an incredible gif, and I hope that guy is recovering well from his likely back injuries.
Tremendous
It's just a trick of spacing. And it's never quite right, no matter how much you fuss with it.It doesn't look quite right, but I can't figure out what's wrong. How dare SoSH update since 2011!
Looks great, as long as the numbers continue to go yellow. It doesn't look quite right, but I can't figure out what's wrong. How dare SoSH update since 2011!
Plus their #1 defenseman got extra rest due to the suspension and the team did not suffer.Just guessing, but it seems more like the schedule broke almost perfectly for the Bruins in terms of rest and this series now.
The difference between playing too much and a team therefore being tired and playing regularly but at a level that conditions the team ideally for the next game is likely a few meals and an extra 24 hours. Although they have played a ton, going into game two they have played one game in the last five days. In that one game Carlo and Krug crested 20 minutes on the ice.
I don't know what they do with the rest of their time, but it seems like they should be in great shape to just pound away in game two.
